ipod C25K - can you skip?

I am running/walking my first half marathon in October - I am thinking of trying the C25K ipod app, but I've already been running/walking for a couple months - I'm up to almost 2 miles, but can't seem to get that third mile under my belt. Has anyone used this app? Can I skip through the workouts until I feel challenged and start there? Ideally I'd like to be able to run 5 miles by the October half marathon (and walk the other 8)

  • Yes, you can skip. The app will show you the training workout, so you can skip too the appropriate week you need. Also, there is a FABULOUS app that I've switched to instead (as I workout more than 3 days a week, and C25K is for a 3-day workout) is UltraTrainer, think it cost $2, but you can basically devise your own workout. It comes with some great timers for interval training, but you can edit these and make your own. Same theory as the C25K app. Good luck!
