Hello, I am starting to track my calories by using this app. Goal is 1200 calories (would like to lose 20lbs). Anyone else a member of Kaiser and doing there healthy balance program?

Keep in mind, with this app your 1200 calorie goal is BEFORE exercise.
With 20 pounds to lose your weekly weight loss goal should be no more than 1 pound a week. When you get to within 10 pounds of goal, dial your weekly goal back further to 1/2 pound a week. A moderate deficit helps you keep more lean muscle mass (you lose fat instead of fat+muscle).2 -
Unfortunately I fractured my foot so right now I can’t exercise cardio for at least another month. Can only do upper body strength and abs0
