Looking for help to get Keto plans

Hi there,
Very new to the App & MFP.
I have been overweight all my life & suffering from depression. Dr. has asked me to start my weight loss journey as something to look forward to. Looking for support & suggestions.

Check out the Most Helpful Posts threads pinned to the top of each forum. No matter what diet you choose to follow, there's lots of great general beginner info there. Especially this one:

Get your profile on MFP set up, so you know what your calorie goal is, and then you'll need to manually set your macro goals if you want to do keto.

Here is a link to the Low Carbers forum, I believe they have some good Getting Started type posts there too

Everything I learned about keto, I learned from youtube. There's a very vibrant and enthusiastic and positive keto community there. Check out Dr. Ken Berry's channel. He's a practicing M.D. and he has tons of great info on the keto lifestyle. Also fantastic recipes from Keto Connect, Headbanger's Kitchen and CJ's Keto Kitchen and there's tons more. There's almost nothing you can't make keto. My advice is to keep it simple, especially at first. Keto has helped me lose almost 40 lb. and greatly improved my diabetes and depression. Good luck!
