Blind melon at house of blues - was with new singer but still an awesome show1 -
Kid Rock! Saw him 2 New Year's Eve in a row, once in St. Louis and once in Kansas City and both were great shows. Guns & Roses at Arrowhead Stadium in KC was awesome too!2

Godsmack and Volbeat tonight. This is the fourth time I've seen Volbeat but a first for Godsmack. I've seen so many shows. Probably the best concert I've seen was Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and Red Hot Chili Peppers....and it wasn't a festival! Pearl Jam 10 had just been released and they were the opener!2

Man, this is a hard one. It's really a toss up between Nine Inch Nails, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rob Zombie, Eric Church and Neil Diamond. All amazing entertainers and I have seen some of them more than once cuz they leave you wanting more.3

Hard one. The first two were Events.
Cal Jam --1974
Rare Earth
Earth, Wind & Fire
Eagles
Seals and Crofts
Black Oak Arkansas
Black Sabbath
Deep Purple
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Anaheim -- 1976
ZZ Top
Blue Oyster Cult
Johnny Winter
Edgar Winter
I think the best single performer concert I have been to is Steve Miller. Saw him in 1974, 2002 and 2018. He's as good now as he was then.
Or maybe David Bowie in 1975. Or, I don't know, I've been to over 800 concerts in my life. Next one is Jeff Lynne from ELO on June 29th.

So far, it's an even toss up between Roger Daltrey at Bethel Woods and Ringo Starr at Radio City. I called out to Ringo "I love you, Ringo!" and he stopped the show to respond. Such a cool moment! This year, I've got tickets to see the Rolling Stones. So looking forward to that, and the Who is coming to Jones Beach.0

For me defintely Parkway Drive! Stage production is amazing and just really talented musicians.0

Jeff Lynne/ELO is a good one! AND he'll be joined with George Harrison's son Dhani on tour. Dhani Harrison is a fantastic musician in his own right. Enjoy the show!0 -
Ani DiFranco always puts on a good show. Foo Fighters have great energy too - I’m not a big fan of their music, but I love Dave Grohl0

Holy jealous Batman! That’s a damn fine lineup1 -
Joe Bonamassa and Gary Clark Jr. are pretty groovy too1
-
And honestly I always have a *kitten* ton of fun whenever seeing any of the Marley brothers live.0

Saw the killers last year and it was really good -2

Impossible to pinpoint just one!
On any given day, and depending on my mood I could be swayed to say any of these were my fave..
Rush(2010), Iron Maiden with Scorpions (1983), ACDC (2010), U2 (2013), Garth Brooks (1997), Guns and Roses with The Cult (1989)2 -
Hmmm tough one. I've been to a lot of concerts, but her are some of my favorites:
-Metallica was awesome
-Aerosmith before they became a pop band was really good. The show I went to was for the "Pink" tour, and their last CD before they got too Poppy for me.
-Alice in Chains was great
-Avenged Sevenfold was awesome
-Slipknot was an entertaining show but not my kind of music
-I saw Sound Garden about a month before Chris Cornell passed away, great show
-Charlie Daniels Band always puts on a great show0 -
Gotta Say
Willie Nelson
The Eagles
Chris Stapleton0 -
@Bullet_with_Butterfly_Wings what’s yours?0

Hands down best live performers out there are The Mavericks. You can go to a show not knowing a single song and have an absolute amazing time. I saw them back in their heyday in the 90's and lamented about never being able to see them again after they broke up. Now that they have gotten back together I never miss a show if they come to town.
Surprisingly, both my husband and i agreed that John Fogerty put on one of the best performances we've ever seen. Disturbed is near the top of my list as well.0 -

This is a tough one... Muse is incredible live, Chris Cornell as a solo act and with Audioslave... amazing as well. Robert Plant was killer, mostly cuz of all the Zeppelin tunes. A Perfect Circle were incredible... Incubus.... so many more. I can't answer this.
I can say that one of my all time favourite bands were horrible live, Deftones... I was so disappointed.0 -
So many good ones, it is hard to pick just one. My top three:
Phoenix, with Cold War Kids and The Arkells - December 2017 - all three bands put on an amazing show, and in a very cool venue (historic Cain's Ballroom, Tulsa). Phoenix is my favorite so of course that was the evening's highlight for me.
Tori Amos - November 1996, when she was really at her peak as a performer IMO
Tears for Fears - Summer 2015, I thought it would be "kinda neat" to see a band I liked on the radio as a kid, but my husband and I were both completely blown away by their concert...truly EXCELLENT live. Now we're both actual fans and didn't see that coming.
My biggest disappointment was the Pixies, not because they weren't fantastic (they were)...it was just so technically perfect that it was almost boring.

Hard to compare when all the concerts I’ve been to are of different genres.. Kiss, Fall Out Boy, NKOTB, Dropkick Murphys, Luke Bryan, ICP, Kenny Chesney, Jay-Z, NOFX and the list goes on!
I can say the concert that I had the best time at, was the NOFX show.0 -
I would probably have to say Godsmack. Great musical talent, stage presence, knew how to work the crowd, not overly produced/overly theatrical. Probably second would go to Papa Roach.
Least favorite goes to Avenged Sevenfold. Struggled to sing in tune and too many theatrics (I felt they used pyrotechnics to overcompensate lack of musical skill). Big disappointment, however not surprising if you listening to their first album. Shows how much the subsequent albums are highly produced.0 -

Man ida thought deftones would be great - never saw a perfect circle but did see tool - Maynard is an evil fuggin weird genius -0 -
I've been to several concerts myself but I easily can pick a favorite. I attended a concert in Memphis, TN on MudIsland called the Carnival of Madness tour. Shinedown was the headliner who I'm obsessed with but the other artists were, We As Human, In This Moment, Papa Roach and Skillet (another one of my favs). The weather was perfect being that MudIsland is an outdoor arena, that was a big deal. I've seen Skillet and Shinedown multiple times since but that concert was like 6 years ago and still ranks as my favorite.0

I've seen Buffett many times, great Bluesmen like the late greats BB King and Bo Diddley (got to shake hands with both), and Buddy Guy.
But probably my favorite concerts were those of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes...

Circa 1998: snuck around the "backstage" barriers at Warped Tour. The guys from Rancid were like, "Come here! We love fans!" Not necessarily my kind of music, but they were super nice to goofy teen girls with no backstage passes.
Most fun: GWAR-B-Q...metal, beer and a pool.0 -
Small Venue: Jonathan Richman at Cedars in Youngstown in the 90s
Medium Venue: The Hold Steady at the Beacon Theatre in NYC in 2010
Large Venue: Iggy Pop at Randall’s Island, NYC in 2004 (part of Little Steven’s Underground Garage Festival which also included in that day Big Star, The Dictators, Nancy Sinatra, The Strokes, The New York Dolls, Bo Diddley and many others)0 -

OH MI GOSH GWAR! I saw them way back in the late 80s. Wild times!
I was into the local punk/metal scene. Good times! None of the bands made it big, and 35 years later a few are still trying.
I saw so many concerts. Now at age 50 I couldn’t pick a favorite. I had much different criteria for a “good” show when I was 18. My first concert was Journey with Bryan Adams opening. I saw Ozzy Osbourne with Motley Crue opening. Saw Iron Maiden a few times. Depeche Mode, Erasure, Fugazi, Black Flag, Public Enemy, B52s, first Lollapalooza... all good!
And I sure as heck wish concert tickets were still 10 bucks.
No, I did NOT leave off a zero 🤣
My daughter paid an unthinkable amount of money to see Ed Sheeran, and she believes it was worth it. I can’t even comprehend spending the equivalent of a car payment on a single ticket 🤷🏻♀️
