I am in for another round, the last round towards the end I got sick and things got all crazy. I am starting the round off with being sick so hopefully can push forward here.
This is my goal from another group - May 1st – 195 – (group challenge – 25lbs). I am not feeling confident but will be pushing forward as much as my body will allow.Round 68 SW: 225.8 – EW: 219.8 (↓6lbs)

04/23 – 200.2 this is ok, with still being sick. It is best to maintain then to keep going in an upward direction.
04/24 – 198.6 I am not sure how accurate this is, because still not eating right, drinking water or exercising.
04/25 – 197.6
04/26 – 196.8

04/23: 136.8 / 14,448 / Not as bad as I thought it would be. It’s actually exactly what it was 3/28, the last time I weighed. Oh, and I had spaghetti last night, so this might be a little higher than true weight.
04/24: 134.6 / -2.2 / 15,277 / I’m guessing yesterday was artificially high, because I’m fairly certain I didn’t lose 2.2 pounds over night. I did good yesterday, but not that good.
04/25: 134.6 / 0.0 / 15,545 / I even had pizza for dinner. Yum!
04/26: 135.6 / +1.0 / 12,277 / TOM being a hit sucks.
04/27: Out of town no scale /8,581 steps not bad for spending 7 hours driving.
04/28: Out of town no scale: Hopefully the walking will make up for the food... It usually (no always) does for regattas.

Day/Weight/Comment
04/23- 327.8- I have MCAS and woke up in a flair this morning, swollen and rashy, so I’m surprised the scale went down at all, but I’m glad it did.
04/24- 327.8- this is a frustrating moment. I was soooooo good about foods, sodium, getting my water and even walking. I know that it’s fine that the scale doesn’t move but it just feels bad.
04/25- 328.8- if this is some cosmic test, I’m not feeling it. I stayed in my calories, I got my water in. I’m so frustrated and I don’t understand why I’m stuck in this limbo.
04/26- 325.2- yesterday was a bad day, and I went over my calories and had pie so I was sure that today would be an up day on the scale, but no! I am really glad to see the number move back to doing better today!
04/27- 328.2- this is so frustrating. I was so good about my calories and sodium and water, so this is a real downer.

04/23 - 154.6
Yesterday was a good day. I think the uptick is from sodium (ok, and food) on Sunday. I suddenly feel very much back on track. Planning to have a good round.
04/24 - 154.4
Off to the Y to lift weights and then one of our beautiful parks for a long walk, and then I hope to find a little time to move a clematis that's planning to take over the front sidewalk. It's a gorgeous day out there!
04/25 - 153.8
Another reasonable day, although it's supposed to rain this afternoon. So nice to see everything greening up.
04/26 - 153.4
04/27 - 154.8
What? OK, well, so it goes. My calorie average has come down and I'm paying eating right, so just one of those funny little scale jokes. Have a lovely weekend, all.

Goal: Last round was sad. I was eating what I would expect to be maitenence (since Easter and other events) with making sensible choices while eating out, and upping my exercise, to gain a whopping 2kg (I think. Didn't weigh the last two days). If this wasn't bloat from alcohol I will be very disappointed.
04/23-96.0 kg and 16,200 steps. This started well with dropping 1.3 kg compared to the bloat of last week. Lets hope it remains and I can finally see some progress!

I woke up with my back aching to the point where I couldn't move. So, I didn't workout at all but made sure I followed my eating plan. I was feeling like I wanted to snack all day but I stayed strong which was good.

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
4/22 126.5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4/23 126.0 My 70th round! And my goal weight from 1986 WW!
4/24 125.5 Almost back to HS weight. Not really trying to lose now but I need to build some muscle so will just see what happens and increase my workouts, as much as I hate them! I have been a couch potato for as long as I can remember. I am still losing fat so I guess this is okay.
4/25 125.0 My high school weight in 1966-67 Lunch with friends today
4/26 126.0 Had lunch at Carlito’s. I had the stuffed sopapilla with green chili. And I ate 1/4 of the dessert sopapilla with honey. It was all delicious and it was an experiment to see how those things would affect me. It was more carbs in one meal than I usually eat in a week! We’ll see what happens over the next couple of days.
To everyone who doesn’t understand why eating well yesterday didn’t make a difference on the scale today, look back at what you ate 2-3 days ago.
You are doing amazing!5 -
I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40.
Round four, back for more! I have another challenging round ahead of me. I'll be taking my high school students on their first multi-day trip right in the middle of this round and I'm also expecting my TOM at the same time. That means water retention and high sodium food choices for several days. I plan on being more diligent tracking my water, getting at least 10,000 steps everyday, and I'm aiming for a 1 lb weight loss to get myself back to where I was at the end of Round 73.
R73 SW 188.4 lb EW 184.6 lb
R74 SW 184.6 lb EW 185.6 lb
R75 SW 185.6 lb EW TBD
GW: 160 lb (I'll probably re-evaluate when I get there, but I remember being pretty comfortable at that weight)
Day/Weight/Comment
04/23 184.6 lb Yesterday was a great start to this round! I drank 45oz of water and 22oz of non-calorie drinks, walked 13,645 steps, and kept within my calorie goals. We even went to Red Robin for dinner and I got salmon instead of the usual burger and fries. It was tasty, if not a little too salty. More water planned for today as it's the boyfriend's night to provide dinner and it usually is not particularly healthy.
04/24 184.6 lb I walked 13,218 steps, drank 30oz of water and 34oz of non-calorie drinks and kept within my calorie goals again. I'm getting anxious about the high school trip. I expect it to go well; I've taught most of these students for the last five years and know them very well, but I keep thinking of the phrase, "One kid, one brain. Two kids, no brains." We have 23 kids going on this trip.
04/25 183.6 lb Yesterday I had 14,529 steps tracked, 30oz of water and came in under calorie goals in preparation for our band trip. We boarded the bus at 6:30 with no issues and are on our way to Philadelphia!
04/26 Travelling, no scale. I tracked 13,415 steps, drank about 30 oz of water, and went about 700 calories over, which isn't too bad for restaurant food all day. The students are behaving well and our day is packed with museum visits and musical experiences. They better sleep well tonight to be ready for our competition tomorrow.
04/27 Travelling, no scale. I hate the "Done" button in the app. I always hit it first instead of "Post Reply" and wipe out my response. I tracked 10,115 steps, drank 65 oz of water, and made sure my food choices weren't all garbage. They weren't great, but it could have been worse. We're competing this morning and then spending the rest of the day in the theme park! I love roller coasters! 🎢
and I put all of the weight back on. I am going to be consistant with tracking my food...good or bad...and
04/24 195.2 Had way too much fun on vaycay. Hope some of this is water weight and I can drop it quickly.
04/25 192.6 Yay! Hope to keep this downward trend going. It'a rainy today so I plan on walking the stairs today at work and drinking lots of water.
04/26 191.4 Alright! Apparently I was holding a lot of water weight from my Easter weekend indulgences. Hoping to get in the 180's by the end of this round.
04/27 192.4 walked 17,000 steps yesterday and drank my watwer, but had a late dinner that included a little bread and some wine.
Meal planned, shopped, worked out, no-mayo tuna salad for dinner and meal prepped. Good day, but should have taken the pups for a walk instead of spending the last 40 minutes on the couch. Awesome plan for today and will get in some steps in addition to working out my arms. No couch time tonight!
24-Apr... 193.2... -0.6
Did good on portion control with my skinnytaste bolognese sauce with penne (pasta is my FAVORITE). But at my little meeting last night had an extra glass of wine and 5 hershey kisses. Did NOT come home and have another as I usually would so celebrating the small successes! I will take the over half pound loss joyously!
25-Apr... 191.4... -1.8
Had lovely lunch for Admin Pro day. Best part? Walked in the sunshine to get there and back. Steps, Baby! But, boss encouraged a frosty beverage along with lunch. Odd thing is I was craving junk all the rest of the night and DID NOT want to work out. But guess what? I ate a handful of almonds and another skinnytaste muffin, got a big glass of water and after that had settled... I worked out. Was within 100 cals of daily goal with all that so just took a shower and slipped into bed. Better there than in the kitchen eating crap. It paid off because the scale is down almost another 2 lbs. My little hangover belly is almost gone when I stand up straight. Love those non-scale wins!
26-Apr... 190.8... -0.6
Leftover filet taco for lunch. Made an AWESOME pork tenderloin last night for dinner with half cup garlic mashed taters and a lovely arugula strawberry feta salad. So so so satisfying. Even had a couple glasses of wine and stayed within calorie range. Took the pups out. Measured myself this morning from 4/9 and down an inch in waist and hips, half inch breast and calf and a quarter on neck. Stupid thighs won't budge but we are getting there.
27-Apr... 190.2... -0.6
Leftover dinner for lunch and a nice sirloin steak with rice and spinach for dinner. Man do I NOT feel deprived, but I am HUNGRY this morning. Worked out, stayed busy and scale down again. This 10-dayer is turning out AWESOME. Going out to dinner with the fam tonight so MAKE GOOD CHOICES!
Hi I’m Karen.
USW-187 Sept. 2018
UGW-135
Goal this round-160
4/25- 164-I’m starting a bit late. I fell off the wagon at Easter then left town and ate bad. I cam back to take a quilting class the rest of the week and walked yesterday morning before I left, but sat all day and didn’t want to stop for lunch, so I ate chips when I got home and made dinner. Last night I made a salad to take today. I will walk 7 miles this morning before I leave and will hopefully be back on track!
4/26-163-I’ve been getting my walks in before my class. I’ve also been taking my lunch. It sure takes a while to get back to the lower number after eating bad for a couple of days. Not worth it. It’s Friday!!!!!!!!!
4/27-162-I’ve been walking and making wise food choices. Long car ride today and eating out....we’ll see.
I’m glad you are all here!!!!😊☕️9 -
Round70 TL -3.6 pounds 356.4 - 352.8
Round 71 -3.8 pounds 352.8-349
Round 72 -1.8 pounds 349-347.2
Round 73 -3.6 pounds 347.2-343.6
Round 74 -4.4 pounds 343.6-339.2
RSW 339.2
This round is going to be a little rough as tom should start somewhere during it. I’m hopeful of getting a bit more down before the weight bounce from it starts.
04/23 337.2 I’m surprised by this drop, especially since I was sure my sodium was high yesterday. But I guess it wasn’t as bad as I feared and I dropped water weight from the weekend. I’ll see what the next few days bring and not be surprised if I see a bounce up.
04/24. 338.2 Hey I’m getting good at predicting the bounces. To be fair this number seems closer to what I thought I should be, so I’m pretty happy with it.
04/25 338.2 I’m okay with this. Tom is creeping ever closer and last month my weight slowed and bounced around for several days before.
04/26 338.0 I’m surprised by a loss today, I usually have a gain after having Italian beef for dinner.
04/27 337.0 And the water weight I was holding on to goes bye bye. We’ll see what happens over the next few days as I’m expecting tom at any moment.
@deepwoodslady - You inspire me. Here I am dragging my feet because my office is torn apart (new flooring) and I need to paint it and I still have a cold. And of course there are a ton of other things that need to be done inside and out. Compared to a kitchen reno and babysitting, what am I whining about?
@wellnfree Oh my! That sounds like a huge undertaking too. I remember last year getting all new carpeting thoughout the house (3 bedrooms & livingroom). Flooring means EVERYTHING must leave the room so I sympathize with you 100% . Just think about how great it is going to look when your all finished! Just remember to take care of yourself too during the project.
Glad to be back here! I ate so much over the weekend and miraculously didn't gain anything. I think I may have created a new weight set point! Hopefully! Either way I've been back to logging since yesterday, back to doing what works 😁
04/24 132.6 t = 133.4
Feeling super lathargic the last two days, which is bad because I'm a full time nanny. You can't phone that in. It's hard to tell if it's metabolic or related to depression (i.e. premenstrual dysphoria; T.O.M. is coming up). Also I haven't been working out at all, and maybe that is making me conserve more energy??? Idk, I'm gonna do a 1 mile jog before work and see if that helps.
04/25 132 t = 133.3
Yesterday was great! I went for a mile run and did my best pace since starting again, 9 min/mile. I also did some yoga. It feels good to get back on the movement train. But today my back muscles are sore. I need a massage 😂
I want to do another mile run today but I don't want to over do it, and hurt my knee.
04/26 132.6 t = 133.3
Super happy with this!
Yesterday I had a NSV, I was browsing Facebook around lunchtime and someone posted about wanted taco Bell and then all of the sudden I really wanted some taco Bell crunchy beef tacos. I realized that while attempting to achieve my goal weight I had been super strict when it came to fast food, but now that I'm securely at the low end of my range why am I still avoiding it? Could it be unhealthy anxiety? So I decided to prelog 3 crunchy tacos and guess what? They were only ~500cal, the same as my lunch usually is now. So I did it, I went over to taco Bell and had 3 crunchy tacos for lunch and guess what? It was awesome and satisfying.
04/27 133.6 t = 133.3
My weight is up a pound but my trend is still exactly the same, I love maintenance! Yesterday I decided to do a pretty difficult hike by myself mid-day and it was awesome! There were hardly any other hikers out so it really felt alone. Especially when I got to the top. I suspect my weight increase today is just water from me taxing my muscles so much yesterday.
What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
4/23 126.0 My 70th round! And my goal weight from 1986 WW!
4/24 125.5 Almost back to HS weight. Not really trying to lose now but I need to build some muscle so will just see what happens and increase my workouts, as much as I hate them! I have been a couch potato for as long as I can remember. I am still losing fat so I guess this is okay.
4/25 125.0 My high school weight in 1966-67 Lunch with friends today
4/26 126.0 Had lunch at Carlito’s. I had the stuffed sopapilla with green chili. And I ate 1/4 of the dessert sopapilla with honey. It was all delicious and it was an experiment to see how those things would affect me. It was more carbs in one meal than I usually eat in a week! We’ll see what happens over the next couple of days.
4/27 126.5 Totally okay with this. “Testing the waters” with increased carbs and maintaining.9
