Is there a way to lose fat without losing weight

I feel like I may be just a tad unrealistic. I recently gained almost 40lbs this past year for a total of 128lbs from 91lbs at 5’4”. I’ve always been underweight my entire life so I’m loving the new body, minus the gut I’m trying to get rid of. I know I can’t spot treat, and I have been exercising regularly. I weigh myself daily. When the scale drops a pound or 2 I panic and up my calorie intake to gain that weight back. So here is the problem, I feel like I’m spinning my wheels and not seeing results from my hard work. I don’t want to be under 130. I want to stay 130 and just lose fat and gain muscle. Am I being ridiculous? Is the weight loss inevitable? Should I gain 10 more pounds and up my weight to 140 so I don’t get anxiety from losing the weight since I’ll be 10 pounds heavier than I want to be? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
