24-May D19 251.4; binged last night. Dang! Why can't I control myself and remember that it affects the scale drastically!?

28-May D23 252.6; another binge night. I have to stop feeling sorry for myself. I have had a few days of hating to track, not wanting to exercise, and the "doom" of doing this forever. BUT! What I have to remind myself (easier in the morning than at night) is that I am making this choice because I want my body to be lighter. My knees and joints need me to be lighter so that I'll be in less pain. So I need to get my mind right at night, too! Thanks for listening.

It's amazing how fast the weight comes on when I have a night binge!! I have been so good this week and thought the scale would jump just a little more. But that's why we are doing this, right!? To learn more about how food affects our body & our weight. And to learn that it's okay that we don't lose 5# in one day! LOL Even though we might gain it in one day. It's progress! Training the mind to NOT be ruled by the scale is going to be a good exercise from these 100 days. Progress!

Day 58: 193.6 I’ve been working on getting fat adapted again in my LCHF Journey. I think I’ve finally gotten there as my hunger is now minimal. I haven’t had travel in the past 10 days so that has really helped. It’s much easier to control my diet when I’m away from new & exciting restaurants out of town.
Day 59: 193.6 Holding steady. Not enough water or shedding yesterday. Calories have been a bit low. I will increase everything today to keep the metabolism up. Staying between 1200 & 1400 Calories is the plan.
Day 60: 193.8 A normal body fluctuation. I did well yesterday but was a little low on calories again. Happy 4th of July to all of us in the USA.

Travel is tough for many of us.
I read a post a while back that got me thinking. She said something like you have a choice you can lose the weight before him much like saving money for something and then enjoy the trip without too much concern. Or you can gain weight and then I have the struggle afterwards and the fear of having to lose it it would be like taking out a loan.
So my plan is to lose before a trip, So I can come home and not have a big dieting battle ahead of me.

Travel is tough for many of us.
I read a post a while back that got me thinking. She said something like you have a choice you can lose the weight before him much like saving money for something and then enjoy the trip without too much concern. Or you can gain weight and then I have the struggle afterwards and the fear of having to lose it it would be like taking out a loan.
So my plan is to lose before a trip, So I can come home and not have a big dieting battle ahead of me.
Travel disrupts our routine.
@MadisonMolly2017 An excellent idea I have never thought of. Traveling again today, but these travels lately have been so close together. I will surely try it next time a have a few days between travel! Thanks for another great tip!

07/22 …..198.2 ….. After DGS’ birthday party weigh-in. However, it’s the late night binge that bit me in the butt. 2793 Calories In / 3003 Calories Out. 16,678 Total Steps & 7.06 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 6 minutes which was badly needed.
07/23 …..196.8 ….. Yesterday’s stats: 1293 Calories in / 3289 Whopping Calories Out!. 31 Net Carbs which included Spaghetti Squash Lasagna. 23,543 Total Steps & 10.04 Total Miles. Both are probably my record. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 50 minutes & woke up tired but am doing okay now. I walked for 60 minutes, rigorously cleaned cabins for 97 minutes & I danced for 51 minutes. Sample Song: “Black Magic Woman” by Santana.

07/25 …..197.9 ….. After Travel weigh-in. I really don’t want to talk about it. It was lunch AND dinner out because of it being such a long day out of town afterall. Let’s just say that I’ve got some work to do. Traveling tomorrow and I will not be back until Sunday. I use a PC and I will not likely have access to a computer. I have an older phone but I can’t seem to get the app to work I’ll go by my daughters this evening for help. I would like to be able to log in while away on my phone. I hate to break my mfp streak. I hate to go away for the next 3 days but emotionally & socially it seems vital to me right now. It is odd & unexpected the way things change when your husband passes away and you are not longer a “couple”. You feel more like a 5th wheel. Not at family events, but socially. This lady friend that I am going with was someone I met as a customer of mine this past spring. She is recently divorced and feels much of what I’ve been feeling the past 3 years. So this trip is important to both of us emotionally & socially. We plan on having great fun! It will be filled with lots of activities & food choices will not always be something I can 100% control, but I plan on doing my best, even though my best is just not good enough yet. Notice, I said YET. I’ll never give up the good fight!

07/29 …..xxxxx ….. After travel weigh-in. Nope. Not even going there! Buffet dinner on the way home last night. Today, not so good. Grab & go. So behind in work in the cabins due to all the checkouts yesterday that now need to be cleaned. Also, contractors showed up today to dig up behind cabins 3 & 4 to resolve some slow (septic) plumbing issues (clogs easily) so I am s.t.r.e.t.c.h.e.d to my limit on time. HUGE part of my yard dug up. Tons of cabin laundry awaits. My house is a mess from my brother (the house sitter while I was gone). And I would still LOVE to walk this evening if the thunderstorms stop. Not a good round for me but I'll check back in tomorrow. Have a good evening everyone!
07/30 …..199.7 ….. Does spit have calories? If so, I’m afraid if I swallow I will hit the 200 mark and that is not something I will accept after all my hard work, so today will be a day under 1200 calories & under 20 net carbs. Yesterday both were still too high on a grab & go today. Today is better planned. Yesterday I burned 2771 Calories, 13,905 Total Steps & 5.88 Total Miles. I rigorously cleaned cabins for 68 minutes burning 333 extra calories. Luckily I’m like a Phoenix and I always rise up from the ashes. I am thinking about going downstate (about 2 hours each way) to take my son & 2 of my grandson’s to see The Lion King. It would involve eating at a restaurant again. My son & I are SO EXCITED about the movie & the trip would be to the closest movie theater from us in general. It would involve at least one restaurant but if I stuck to ordering breakfast foods it would be a tremendous help in the food section of my plan. I’ll try to organize that trip today for asap.
07/31 …..199.7 ….. Travel again today & leaving very soon. I’ve packed travel snacks to avoid gas station junk. I will be back tonight. I will be eating at a restaurant for dinner, but I will avoid all snacking at the theater. Yesterdays stats: 1726 Calories In / 2645 Calories Out. 78 Net Carbs. 14,330 Total Steps & 6.06 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 3 minutes. I walked 71 minutes with my neighbor & I light to moderate cleaning for 100 minutes. Not a perfect day but I stayed moving as much as possible. A disappointing round full of travel & bad choices. Great job to everyone. I saw lots of hard work & dedication that payed off for many! See you next round!

Day 58: 193.6 I’ve been working on getting fat adapted again in my LCHF Journey. I think I’ve finally gotten there as my hunger is now minimal. I haven’t had travel in the past 10 days so that has really helped. It’s much easier to control my diet when I’m away from new & exciting restaurants out of town.
Day 59: 193.6 Holding steady. Not enough water or shedding yesterday. Calories have been a bit low. I will increase everything today to keep the metabolism up. Staying between 1200 & 1400 Calories is the plan.
Day 60: 193.8 A normal body fluctuation. I did well yesterday but was a little low on calories again. Happy 4th of July to all of us in the USA.
Day 61: 195.8 What a difference a day makes! I obviously enjoyed my 4th of July holiday. Back on track today & feeling strong. The plan is lots of water & movement & sticking to my food plan.

28-May D23 252.6; another binge night. I have to stop feeling sorry for myself. I have had a few days of hating to track, not wanting to exercise, and the "doom" of doing this forever. BUT! What I have to remind myself (easier in the morning than at night) is that I am making this choice because I want my body to be lighter. My knees and joints need me to be lighter so that I'll be in less pain. So I need to get my mind right at night, too! Thanks for listening.

It's amazing how fast the weight comes on when I have a night binge!! I have been so good this week and thought the scale would jump just a little more. But that's why we are doing this, right!? To learn more about how food affects our body & our weight. And to learn that it's okay that we don't lose 5# in one day! LOL Even though we might gain it in one day. It's progress! Training the mind to NOT be ruled by the scale is going to be a good exercise from these 100 days. Progress!

June 24th - Day 50: 196.4 Powered thru those cravings yet again. Disappointed in no change on the scale. Calories were low (1392). Carbs were low (11). I burned 3279 Calories. 20,180 steps & 8.54 miles walked yesterday. Ah well, the scale will catch up!

Day 58: 193.6 I’ve been working on getting fat adapted again in my LCHF Journey. I think I’ve finally gotten there as my hunger is now minimal. I haven’t had travel in the past 10 days so that has really helped. It’s much easier to control my diet when I’m away from new & exciting restaurants out of town.
Day 59: 193.6 Holding steady. Not enough water or shedding yesterday. Calories have been a bit low. I will increase everything today to keep the metabolism up. Staying between 1200 & 1400 Calories is the plan.
Day 60: 193.8 A normal body fluctuation. I did well yesterday but was a little low on calories again. Happy 4th of July to all of us in the USA.
Day 61: 195.8 What a difference a day makes! I obviously enjoyed my 4th of July holiday. Back on track today & feeling strong. The plan is lots of water & movement & sticking to my food plan.
Day 62: 195.2 Working on the holiday indulgences.
Day 63: 194.8 I had an extreme low cal/low carb day yesterday with lots of movement to offset the holiday BBQ & leftovers. Scale is trending back down.
July 08th - Day 64: 195.9 Bad food day yesterday but phenomenal activity & calorie burn. Hopefully this is water weight.

July 15th - Day 71: 195.8 Okay, love the improvement over yesterday! My lowest weight on this particular challenge was 193.6 on days 58, 59 & 60. Look out 193.6, I’m coming back for you. You’re my next short term goal!
Day 72: 194.2 Yes I Can!!!! I can do this! Finally back below where I started on this challenge!
Day 73: 194.4 Normal Fluctuation with a bit of potty trouble. A good day yesterday. I anticipate another good day on plan today. Meals are already planned!
Day 74: 194.2 Staying on track. A nice walk yesterday evening with a new friend/neighbor.
Day 75: 194.6 My fault. One small temptation, otherwise a great day!
Day 76: 194.6 Hanging in there. A great day yesterday but no major exercise due to extreme heat.
Day 77: 195.4 Yuck! Now, off to DGS’s birthday which will be celebrated with a huge lakeside BBQ & lots of food. Pray for me!
July 22nd - Day 78: 198.2 After party weigh-in. Lots of sodium & too many calories. I’ve got work to do!
Day 79: 196.8 Shed water all night which released some bloat from the sodium & party. Travel-sitting & restaurant tomorrow. Strength needed.
Day 80: Travel Day. 196.2 Hoping not to blow it today & keep the scale at bay.
Day 81: After Travel Weigh-In. 197.9 More travel for the next few days until Sunday. I will not be able to weigh in on Saturday or Sunday morning.
