aren't bourbon and scotch both whiskey?

so i think this is a trick question....

regardless, I like the Gentlemen Jack. I like Crown, I like Wild Turkey and Johnny Walker (all colors of labels)

But I will drink most anything. It's not like I'm a snob

  • They all fall under the whiskey family

Scotch has to be made in Scotland
Bourbon has to be made with 51% corn grain, be a single malt and aged in new charred white oak barrles
oh and Jameson is an Irish Whiskey as it is made in Ireland

That being said I like Jameson the best :)

Bourbon for me. I like Makers Mark and Bulleit.

Or Tennessee Whiskey which is almost the same thing. I'll happily take some Jack as a sorta default option if a good straight bourbon isn't available.

I normally don't like whiskey, but my brother really does. He bought a bottle of Jim Beam and didn't like it, so I stuck a pair of vanilla beans in the full bottle, waited a month, and now have delicious vanilla whiskey.
