@tinkerhellraiser Maybe we're the only Dune fans. As mantras go it's a good one when you're freaking out.

Being super vulnerable here but I fear being replaced or forgotten. These fears stem from my mother and how she used to choose other people or herself instead of her own kids when we were younger. So when people leave my life it hits me hard.

My dad did this when my parents split - but it’s what drives me to be involved in my kids lives -so maybe everything happens for a reason🤷‍♂️ our loss is our kids gain ? Idk but I feel you

That's exactly how I see it. I'm a better mom because of that.

I fear not doing enough of what I have the potential to do

I've always felt like wasted potential. At the same time, I don't know what to do about it...or where to start?

Getting married and later having to divorce 😥

Also, not being a good mother to my future children

I share this fear. Learning and growing can be debilitating at times, especially when you’re so scared whether you’re on the right path or not.

I fear becoming paralyzed. I wouldn’t want to be a burden and an obligation to those I love.
