Never heard of gym shark and do not go to gyms anyway.
But really??
Who cares??
Seems such a petty and judgey thing to be focussing on.9 -
LOL, i'm just enjoying the thread OP, has given me some morning LOLs.
Now, I do not own Gym Shark, and I tend to have a bit of the same reaction as you as in "must be a douche". But this is based on the couple of people I follow/used to follow on IG who aren't necessarily douches, but are those super fit chicks with the booties who are always posing and saying vapid *kitten* and basically just being an advertisement for the brand.
I suppose it's not really a 'douche' thing but more of a "i can't take that person seriously" type of feeling perhaps. Maybe this is just because I recently got triggered by one of them and unfollowed because she posted one of those comparison photos of her being leaner than 99% of the population next to her being leaner than 99.9% of the population, with one of those "oh, it's OK to not be lean all the time love your body all the time oh yeah!" type captions. Things like that *kitten* me up the wall.
I think there is ONE girl at my gym who wears Gym Shark. She is also the one who uses 2kg dumbbells and the elliptical and is naturally (I think?) slim. That sounds very judgmental. Yes, I am being judgy.
But all of that being said, I don't really care what people wear and don't normally take notice of it. I will take notice of other stuff - ie the said Gym Shark girl at the gym, I noticed her first because she was hogging a bench down in the weights area with her 2kg DBs doing what IMHO was a waste of time and space workout and I needed a bench at that time. So I got annoyed and then I noticed the Gym Shark outfit.
Then I told myself to stop being a douche and be happy that people are being fit at the gym regardless of what I perceive as being their 'useless' exercises.

I tend to wear things that cover the parts that I want covered. I'll wear clothes with huge logos if it's comfortable. It's not about making a statement, it's just what feels good when exercising. If that is something from Gym Shark or Goodwill, comfort is the only thing that matters. If someone is going to judge people for what they wear to a gym, are they there for a workout or a fashion show?5

I don't care what anyone else wears at the gym, except I prefer everyone cover up their bits. If you have the $$ and want to buy expensive gear, more power to ya! If you got a ratty old tshirt, that's ok too. To each their own.3

Now I am singing "gym shark doo doo doo doo doo doo"9

I don't really care what people wear.
Now people who stink like perfume or smoke on the trail, that's a different story.0 -

We're gonna need a bigger boat, I mean, gym.1 -
I can't imagine judging a person for wearing a brand of gym wear, that's just irrelevant.
Now if a person doesn't rack their weights, treat the staff like an entitled grunt, or take mirror selfies in a busy locker room when people are changing --you bet I'm judging them! With extreme prejudice!6 -

In the *kitten* aisle at my local wallyworld they sell *kitten* with the GymShark label. I thought, no way. Not today. Lol2

Well there ya go.
I've always advised people afraid about being judged or self-conscious about going into the gym to not worry because the people there are too busy getting their own workout done to care about other people.
Guess I was wrong. Seems there are judgy people there so their concerns were somewhat founded. That's a shame.10 -
I'll can be a douche for swag... size medium please!3

Never heard of Gymshark. Went to their site; not impressed.2

This, this and THIS. I swear you can smell someone doused in cheap perfume coming from 60' away. Gag.2 -

This, couldn't even tell you the colour of their gear, never mind the brand!2 -
Googled gym shark, looks like regular gym gear? What's it matter to you what others wear? Only time I notice what someone wears is if they have really cool Thai shorts or gloves, most of the time I'm more focused on my own training.4
