Starting a recomp

So I’m changing up my methods a bit, and lowering my weightloss to 0.5 lbs a week so I can attempt to lose fat/build some muscle. I just have one question, do I need to eat all healthy foods or can I mix it up and focus more on sufficient protein and calories ?

All you wanted to know and more.
Oh - sufficient protein and fat and the rest should be what you'll actually do - whether that be "healthy" or not.

Focus on calories, ensuring you hit appropriate protein and fat levels. The foods you use to get there are up to you!1

I agree with Justin_7272, but it’s a longer process than cutting & bulking. I’ve been doing it for 6 months now. I’ve lost weight since and so far seeing definition here and there.0

Cutting and bulking tend to have larger amounts of fat and water weight. Just eat sub 250-500 of your maintenance calorie amount and lift heavy. Itll happen!0
