I’m trying so hard not to give up. I lost 20lbs earlier this year. Now I have stalled. At one point I stopped working out or paying attention to what I eat. Now I workout 3 times a week...minimum. I can not kick the 230s for anything. I’m thinking of doing a detox or fasting or something. Suggestions? Or just simply works of encouragement?

You can do this! :) Tighten up on weighing your food and logging every day. If you can increase your exercise that helps as well.

You just need to stick to a calorie deficit to lose weight.

If you're just adding exercise in, you'll retain a bit of water weight as the muscles repair themselves.

Please do not consider a detox. Your body detoxes itself.

You just need to be disciplined. Good luck!

You don't need to do anything drastic, and weight loss detoxes are a scam. These threads might help and give you some ideas as a way to move forward:

When things get tough just keep going. If you aren't weighing your food, then begin. Make sure you are double checking all of your food entrees in the food log. Most of the time when people aren't losing weight it's because they are eating more than they think.
