Hi how do you calculate calories per meal used when making a homemade meal

If you go to the ‘Recipes, Meals & Foods’ link you’ll find the recipe builder. Just follow through that process and you’ll have your recipe saved for future use.
Be aware, though, that if you’re importing a recipe from around the internet and asking the recipe builder to match the ingredients you’ll need to sanity check the entries it picks up. They’re often a bit weird!
Also, a tip I’ve found very helpful which I picked up recently is to weigh the finished product in grams, then edit that number in as the number of servings. For example, an Italian Tomato Sauce which I use as a base for lots of other recipes weighed 927g after cooking. I entered the recipe as having 927 servings, so when I want to use some of it, I weigh what I want...say 40g to stir through some roasted veg and enter it as 40 servings. I generally follow the recipe name with 1g=1serve when I enter a recipe this way, to remind me.1 -
