What Would Be Your Halloween Party?

Glow-in-the-dark drinks sound fun. These are some good bases:

Shots shots shots
Use the mad scientist theme to add a little glow in the dark shot magic. Using a beaker as your serving pitcher is a fun detail.

Ice cubes in the shape of a hand?

Put a spin on some traditional fall games to make them a little more, well — interesting.

Glow in the dark boo-bs. Is boobs sfw?2

I did a kid party that was harry potter themed...I really think that would be an equally great theme for an adult party...instead of candies with the HP candy names, you could make shots...Bertie Botts B-52s...or Godiva shots called Chocolate Frog in a Blender...or some such...
We used fancy chopsticks for wands...and felt to make capes...and had a sorting hat made from a paper bag...
Everyone could dress like the slutty version of their favorite character, or the dead version, quite a few don't actually survive...and punishments could be handed out to misbehaving "students"...you are ordered to spend 10 min. serving drinks for back talking a teacher!!!4 -
There would be dips for a start.6 -
I think a cabin in the woods would be the perfect setting for a Halloween party.5

Mood music, drinks, and a full table of Mansions of Madness with a solid B&W classic on in the background1

I know, if only I was invited to Halloween parties.1 -

I'd go with something ambient and haunted. Depends on the style of party, and for hanging out with drinks and a board game I'd probably search Spotify for some haunted-house, spooky house, etc.
For a more "Fun" party you go more for classics. AOL Radio used to have the *Best* halloween radio station, but you do up the fun ones--Monster Mash, Boris the Spider, The Blob (by the five blobs), even stuff like Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo. Just fun music with a decent beat that keeps the "Fun" going. Mix it up with some Rob Zombie, etc...I dunno, now you've got me wanting to go look at some of my Halloween playlists from years past. Too many great songs to list them all off-hand, cause I know I'm missing some classics1 -
Surprise group therapy. Forcing people to face the demon inside is scariest of all.5

I used to be very into origami. One year I folded this sick origami jack-o'-lantern:
I even took one to my office but my boring coworkers were too plain to appreciate my lantern in all its awesome glory. I don't remember if it's hiding in an office closet or if I took it home with me. If I find it in the office I'll take it home and put it on display from October the first.
I'm not much into parties but I love watching Halloween-themed movies at the movie theater and soak up the atmosphere. Nothing too gore. One year I watched Ghostbusters and it was the BEST. HALLOWEEN. EVER. Nothing like a classic. I love that in my country Nov 1st is a national holiday so people can go wild on Halloween night because we don't work the following day. We don't do trick-or-treating but American-style Halloween celebrations are definitely catching on.
That glow-in-the-dark stuff reminds me of a girl who used to do yoga with me. She became an actress and performed in a cabaret-style raunchy show where she did a striptease with glow-in-the-dark paint, lol.
EDIT: Forgot to mention. IF I were to go to a Halloween costume party, my dream is to go as Buttercup from The Princess Bride, because duh! Best movie ever! But not with the actual princess costume. I'd wear the red riding dress she's wearing when she's kidnapped rescued by Pirate Roberts, flower crown, ball earrings and all

That's true. But it's still possible to make your house look good:

If the music is good and everyone is in costume and character, we are good!2

Id have that all year round.1 -
I would be myself not because I’m scary but because I’m an inspiration to so many people and it would make for a great Halloween.5

Sort of random, but I think Siouxsie & the Banshees (greatest hits for example) makes the BEST Halloween party soundtrack (or addition to playlist for that evening). It's chill enough for everyone but spooky & dark enough for fans of harder music too. Crowd pleaser.2

I think we’d take naps and then go to bed early after fighting about bills .2
