Weight loss supplements - are there any that work?

Hi I’m naturally rather sceptical about weight loss supplements etc. I can’t help wondering if anyone has found one that they think has genuinely helped with their journey?
I’m hearing lots about apple cider vinegar at the moment - is there any credibility to this do you think?
Hope all are having a lovely day!

Credibility to Cider Vinegar as a weight loss aid? Absolutely none whatsoever!
Makes a good salad dressing/marinade though! Also fab for drowning fruit flies 😊13 -
There are a few that can help, but they come with side effects and its not something a new person/non bodybuilder should get into. Overall, most supplements for fat loss are worthless.
The effective supplements are in performance (i.e., creatine monohydrate), recovery (L-Citrulline) and health (i.e., fish oil).

Make sure your diet & exercise program is in order before you worry about supplements
As mentioned above you should be taking fish oil for general health - also creatine is very beneficial - both are inexpensive
Apple Cider Vinegar can help some with insulin sensitivity8 -
Yup, two I know of.... Meth and Crack. Go see your corner "supplement" dealer. No none I know of....3

Calorie deficit is the only thing that works for weight loss.6 -

If you'd like to save money, I'll send you a picture of my ACV with 10 billion dead flies in it. Guaranteed appetite suppressant.7 -
They help to drain your wallet of cash, that's about it. Stay skeptical.3

There’s a reason the supplement industry uses marketing buzz words, fancy labels, etc. it’s all a marketing gimmick.
There are things that help with performance like beta alanine, citrulline malate, caffeine, creatine, and a couple others but for weight loss there really isn’t anything out there. If there was obesity wouldn’t be the problem it is.0 -
Supplementing your daily activity level with a little extra exercise usually does the trick!4

"if it's legal, it doesn't work; if it works, it isn't legal." simple as that.5

Thanks everyone! Pretty much confirming my thoughts but had to ask!2
