The best way to become a winner is to be on a great winning team!! You are invited to join us for the September Ultimate Accountability Challenge (UAC).

The Ultimate Accountability Challenge (UAC) provides both weight losers and maintainers with incredible accountability partners AND an emphasis on life-changing healthy basic habits.
This is not the flash-in-the-pan 'biggest anything" short-term challenge. This is the real deal!! We are a non-commercial volunteer group with a proven track record of significant team member success.
We enthusiastically welcome our returning veterans and newcomers too!
The accountability is a daily report of:
1)More than 20 minutes of daily exercise;
2) Tracking the caloric intake of both food and beverage;
3) Consuming no more than your chosen limit of daily calories
4)Daily or every third day reporting of your fulfillment of the above.

A non-fulfillment of any of the above equals a Pass Day. There are 3 Pass Days allowed per month
Those who end the month with less than 4 Pass days are celebrated in the monthly Winner's Circle Qualification!!

    I stumbled upon this challenge in July and so glad I did. It’s a simple straight forward challenge that keeps me focused and on task this group of people keep each other on point and the support is really nice and motivating

    This is an excellent group to join for basic accountability, which was exactly what I needed. It has helped me in adjusting my appetite to becoming accustomed to less calories. That's always easier with like-minded supportive people!

    Dear UAC Team Members,
    Thank you so much for your support and sharing your enthusiasm.
    We invite others to join us. Although the UAC has been in going for more than 4 years, new members are invited to join on a monthly basis. Many members rejoin each month and some folks come in and others choose to move on.
    It's a nurturing culture of sharing and affirmation.
    Welcome to the September UAC ! Click here https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/133850-ultimate-accountability-challenge-september-2019

    Back here for my 9th month in a row, and hopefully my 9th Winner's Circle as well. :) This is hands-down the best challenge on MFP. If you're looking for a friendly and caring accountability group, then you're in the right place!

    Without UAC I would not have the success I have experienced. Not only in weight loss, but the unbelievable support that everyone provides. Encouraging, caring and genuinely supportive people are part if this group. It's a great way to be accountable to youself with the inspiration of others pushing you to be the best you can be.

    September will be my 22nd month of participating in the UAC challenge with the goal being to live a healthy life. I am already at the healthy weight I choose, so why am I here? Monitoring calories, logging, and exercise are just as much the key components for maintaining weight as for losing. Follow the UAC guidelines and you WILL succeed. UAC is my inspiration for continued diligence. Please join us on this journey to good health. There is no time like the present!

    Highly recommend this group! I've been a member since February of 2018. I've been in weight loss mode the entire time; this group has been one of the most important tools in my toolbelt to help me along the way. Super eye opening and a wonderful personal challenge..... I've seen alot of personal growth and victories even in months where I don't make the winners circle :)

    There was a point in my MFP journey of health and well-being that I realized my rugged individualism, love of data, and general skepticism of all things "group" / "social media" was not serving me in achieving my health goals.

    Support in a positive environment is what the UAC offers to all. This is my fourth month participating in the challenge of daily accountability: Exercise for 20 minutes, track everything, stay under your calorie goal. Each month I've deliberately increased my number of tracking days versus "pass days" and I am confident September will see me in the Winner's Circle of successfully using three or less pass days.

    Highly recommend UAC for accountability. I’ve been on here for 9 or 10 months and find it to be a great inspiration. The members are caring, supportive and friendly. Eternally grateful to our leader, @RangerRickL for keeping us on our toes with his daily motivation.

    I just joined because I need some personal accountability. The rule of eat no more than your allotted calories still allows for eating calories earned for exercise, correct?

    That's your decision, you set your calorie goals for the day/ month. Many people choose to eat back calories earned.

    I do this on weekends so I can enjoy extra snacks or wine, etc.... I normally don't have calorie 'budget' for during the week.

    I should clarify. I just joined the challenge for accountability. I have used MFP for nearly a decade. I know how eating back calories works. I just wanted to verify that for the purposes of this challenge, eating back earned calories still counts as staying within the daily calorie amount.

    Got it! Then I'd say yes, it counts... it's totally your decision. If your plan is to set goals daily with eating back calories included, then that was a successful day.

    The purpose of the calorie check-in every day is simply to stick to the goal YOU'VE set. Hope to see you in September!

    @debrakgoogins Yes, if you earn exercise calories, you may 'eat back' calories.

    I am not able to add any comments to the "Introduction" section at https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/133850-ultimate-accountability-challenge-september-2019.

    Any idea why? I wanted to join this group last month, but was unable to add any comments, as I do not see the "Reply" box at the end of thread .
