I don’t remember that. I do remember her ripping up the pope though

For me it’s the song “getting ready to get down” and anything that has a good harmony, like Immogen heaps “crop circles” I think it is yumm0

Remember when that boy had to get caned in Singapore? My parents got a fair bit of mileage out of that2

The song, "Laffy Taffy". It's about candy but at the same time not about candy. It reminds me of a simpler time.3

The sound of cicadas always brings me right back to summers as a kid (~8ish) and my grandparents back yard...I remember the huge blue pine tree I used to sit under, my grandfather's rose garden and the scent and that feeling that summers were long and so was time...it would be forever until I was grown up.11

Google says you're right. Someone mentioned otherwise to me and I never fact checked it until just now1 -

This meme made people think otherwise.
(for awhile I thought this until today years old)
HOWEVER the lyrics and this interview says different:Baha Men didn't write the song. They weren't the first to record it, either. According to Fusion, the group actually heard the single, called Doggie, performed by artist Anslem Douglas. The Baha Men just tweaked the song to give it their own signature Caribbean edge.
In an interview on his website, Douglas explains that the song is actually comparing men who catcall and "bark" at women at clubs to dogs. And not in a good way:
