Has anyone tried Metabolic Renewal?

I watched the whole presentation and I’m not sure whether or not to try it. I’m going through early menopause and my weight is all in my belly. No matter what I do it’s not going away. I’m wondering if anyone has tried it and seen results?

"No matter what I do," means...what exactly? How long have you been logging food and staying in calories?
There is a calorie amount that will have you losing weight. I'm post menopause and I lost the belly. It can be done, just log food and stay in calories. Easy peasy.
I wouldn't pay for a "program" when I can do it myself. Just my take on it.19 -
Just my personal opinion... Jade Teta (the designer of Metabolic Renewal) is a quack and woo peddler. Save your money, figure out your calorie limits and stick to them. The weight will come off.16

Here's another thread on the topic: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10745668/metabolic-renewal-program-anyone-try-it
I'll quote myself from that thread:kshama2001 wrote: »Just increasing exercise is the safest, cheapest, and arguably best way to "improve metabolism."
From a marketing perspective, this is an excellent pitch:

Na I haven’t cos my metabolism doesn’t need renewing.
Calorie deficit to lose weight
Calorie surplus to gain weight

Where your weight "settles" isn't something you can change, and the less you have to lose, the slower it will come off. My whole family runs to pear-shaped--when we gain weight, it's mostly at or below the waist.
Someone asked me yesterday how I'd lost weight in the last couple of years. When I told her "I ate less and exercised more," she looked a little crestfallen, but that's what it comes down to.5 -
Don't be suckered in by a bunch of nonsense.2

Ya what? never heard of it and would be very skeptical.1

Losing weight is a good way to save money, just eat less than you burn. Spending way too much isn't necessary.1

I remember one time I had a juvenile patient in a clinic I worked at, and he was brought in by a "boot camp" counselor as he was in a residential program for troubled teens. The counselor and the kid were discussing his weight loss efforts. I offered that I had lost 50 pounds in six months, and he asked how I did it. I said, "The slow, hard way that actually works." He responded, "What's that?" And I told him, "Exercising and tracking what my food to make sure I eat fewer calories than I burn." He was very unhappy with that answer. Even at 14, he's been well-trained by the culture to look for quick fixes.
As to Jade Teta, he's an ND, which stands for Not a Doctor.6
