    If his favorite author is Hemingway or Bukowski or if his favorite book is The Art of War. Nothing wrong with knowing and liking those to a degree but there are limits. I mean even I enjoyed Hemingway‘s recounting of how he measured Fitzgerald‘s cocktail wiener.

    I’ve only ever read that one book by Nabakov and I thought it was OK as long as you understood that Humbert Humbert is an unreliable narrator and Lolita was a victim. Unfortunately it has entered the popular consciousness in a different way.
