Gaining weight

Lost 4 and a half stones over a few years. Can someone help me with advise how to gain muscle. Without looseing anymore weight at the momemt. I lknow resistance training and protein. What about my caleroies. Still overweight i dont want to be thin i want to feel firmer and stronger. Thankyou. X

If you want to you can set yourself on MFP to maintenain and do a recomp. Eating back your exercise cals.
In the future you can start back on your deficit, and carry on lifting.
Another alternate is to start lifting weights with a small deficit (250 cals). You will still gain strength and, if new to lifting, a small amount of newbie muscle gain.
