Is it wrong I eat like 1 ounce or just 1-2 1/2 cups of food?

The rare thing is that I eat heavily but, mostly. I eat less. Is this good?

Good for what? 1-2 1/2 cups of what? How often?
I can have a half cup of mashed potatoes and gravy with a half cup of chicken thigh and that's a good snack.
A half cup of grapes and a half cup of salad, a good snack but not very filling.
You need a certain number of calories along with a good mix of protein fat and carbs every day. Hit that and you're good. Some people do that with two big meals, some do it with six small meals. For weight management it's all about calories, for health there are other considerations.5 -
If that’s all you are eating all day, it’s probably not enough. You have to weigh & measure all of your food and beverages every day and eat the bare minimum of 1200 calories per day for a female.3

It's impossible to tell without more information as @cmriverside said. However, if you're physically unable to eat more than a half cup of anything at a time, then I would suggest seeing your doctor.7

I read the title as 1 cup to 2 and a half cups. Seems others have read that differently as just a half cup?
As has been said, clarification is needed as two and a half cups of some foods would be a lot, but half a cup of other foods would be a tiny intake!0 -
It has been my experience at MFP that when someone asks if what they are doing is healthy with regards to minimal eating it seldom is. They usually know it is a problem but they are hoping someone says that it is okay.
If you are eating an ounce or 1/2 - 1 cup of food 3 times a day it would be hard to imagine getting enough calories and variety.12
