out of interest what are the comparative salt figures for Pepsi Max vs Diet Coke.

did not know there was any significant difference

sodium is 13mg per 100ml in pepsi max- according to the can in my fridge.

I do not have any diet coke cans to compare but if anyone does, that would be interesting.

I’m Canadian so here’s our Diet Coke info,

    Here’s the Coke Zero,

And here’s the Diet Pepsi which I like because it’s sweeter than those 👆 other two

I used to drink diet coke a lot - every day 1 or 2 - but started reducing it probably about 10 years ago. I would only drink it occasionally and when I ate fast food. I haven't had one at all since December or January.

I drink way too much Diet Coke. I have been trying to cut back lately. My doctor really gets on me about it.

What is your doctor concerned about?

She doesn't like the sodium. She wants me to drink water only. Boring

I'm not sure about your particular water source, but the the example diet sodas given above are approximately 70-100 mg/L. Water varies and averages lower, but quite a few municipal water sources and bottled waters have sodium levels that are equivalent or above the levels in diet soda. Some mineral waters are WELL above that.
