@MadisonMoll so cutting back on carbs and increasing exercise is helping? Looking for strategies to help when I finally reach maintenance again. (Hoping to be there in January)

I’m sorry, I missed your question earlier...

I think you will develop strategies that work for you over time- just never give up.

Yes, carb cutting & exercise worked for me through Nov 20.

But now a sudden increase of blood pressure due to eating out made me realize I had to make changes.

I stopped eating out - for health reasons. Going from 110/70 to 139/88 in 2 days scared me. I guess my body needs extra care.

So that was number 1. BP nicely came down & the lbs that had crept on as water retention did too.

Then I stumbled on Protein Pacing.
For the first time in my life, 5 meals a day is working beautifully.

Never hungry, sustained energy all day & night, eating Much More fruit/veg, continuing my walking...

    https://loseitblog.com/2020/01/12/what-is-the-protein-pacing-diet/

    I eat approx 9:30, 12:30, 3:30, 6:30, 9:30
20 grams protein at each (milk, yogurt, meat, nuts, etc)
    <2,000 cals/day
    <1,500mg salt/day
1 protein bar & 1 small sweet max a day
    >9 3-oz svg veg/fruit/day

Just never give up. Turtle wins the race. Keep looking at your data, note how you feel, identify one thing to change/firm habit at a time!

It’s totally Do-able if you really want to be Healthy.
