    Biggest piece of advice, based on the information you’ve given is not to try to lose those pounds too fast by cutting your calories too aggressively.

    You have a relatively small amount to lose so I’m hoping you’ve set your goal to no more than a pound a week.

    Log your food, no matter what.

    Best tool? Digital food scale.

    Best food? Anything, as long as you are hitting close to those protein and fat Goals.
