Myfitnesspal & Intermittent Fasting

Good morning!
I started intermittent fasting back in July and have lost 19 pounds.
I've always tracked my food in my favorite myfitness pal which helps immensely for intermittent fasting!
I started at 159 (ew)
Now at 140
Goal weight is 125-130.
My question is this.... I've had to buy some new jeans, tops and bras which is a positive spendy thing!
I've not bought a lot at this point.
My question is I started at a 10 petite.
Now wearing a 6 petite.
When I lose another 10 pounds (130) or 15 pounds (125) does anyone know if my size will change much?
Ugh...this is a great problem to have but it is driving me a bit batty!
And how does one lose your boobs!????!!!
Most complain it's the first to go. It's barely budging on me and I'd love for most of them to go away!!!!!!!!
Thanks for any of your expert input! :-)

Sports bra.... great idea. Thank you! I've bought a couple new pair of jeans (thrift store and ebay).
And bought some leggings in a small. I'll stop there and see where I end up. Thank you for your input. Very much appreciated!

Can’t sympathise enough with the persistent boobs! Doesn’t matter how much I weigh I have always hated the fact that I’m just top heavy. I guess for some of us it’s just in the DNA 😢

I (30M) have never seen much change in the way of size; 10-15 lbs doesn't make much difference for me but that could be a function of gender. I lost ~30 lbs in high school and went from a 36 waist to 32 and L to M in clothes sized that way. Subsequent weight fluctuations (as low as 155, as high as 185+) have interestingly not necessitated size changes due to changes in body composition. Over that ~13 year span I'm actually to a S in most shirts due to vanity sizing and style shifts, though I have had to have some suit jackets let out in the shoulders and need to buy custom dress shirts while I used to be able to buy OTR slim fits fine.

TL;DR - it depends. I'm a big fan of places like TJ Maxx anyway 'cause I'm cheap.

Barbara.... We feel each others pain. They never go away and this doesn't run in the family!!!
After I had my daughter, they never went away. I'd pay someone to take them!

If it were medically possible one day, I have a deal with both my daughters that I would donate a third of mine to each of them, then all 3 of us would be happy! 😂😂

Yeah, I even resorted to attempting to weigh just my breasts when I was trying to lose weight, because I figured I should get to deduct those 10 pounds... It involved a towel rack close to the scale on the floor and some stretchy material and some contortion and it didn't really work. Who would have guessed?

Luckily I had been over weight long enough to have many flowing loose-fitting tops, so I was able to hide the ill-fitting clothing as I shrank out of my pants and skirts. A few small tailoring tucks and I didn't buy a lot of clothes. Like you I did the thrift store thing for jeans and dress pants. I lost most of my weight during the winter too, so I could hide a lot of fashion errors with the layered look.

The rule of thumb is one size per 10 to 12 pounds.

Only if you have enough fatty tissue in your breasts to lose cup size. If you have more breast tissue than fat, you won't lose much up top at all. I've lost nearly 60 pounds, went down two band sizes and up a cup size. Very little net change in the size of my actual breasts, just a loss of back fat mostly. My radiologist said that I have "dense breasts". Not only do they not shrink when I'm cutting, but I get an extra mammogram every year too! My cup overfloweth.....(haha--see what I did there? :D )

    This likely depends on height.

Which is also my answer to the original query.

    I'm 5'3". Approximately:
    145 lbs - size 10
    135 lbs - size 8
    128 lbs - size 6
    122 lbs - size 4

    But manufacturer matters, too. Last time I weighed in the low 120s, my clothes were about 60% 4s, 30% 6s, 5% 2s, 5% 8s.

It also depends on what you weigh to start with. If someone is obese (especially class II or III obese), losing 10 to 12 pounds is not likely to change their clothing size. Even 20 lbs might not change their clothing size.
