What I've learned about myself: I have been able to make good choices even though it has been extremely difficult. I’ve made myself workout even tho I’ve been very tired all week so I’m feeling strong but slightly less motivated.4 -

Goal Weight: 180 (this is my ultimate goal weight from when I started my WLJ last April. It will mark a 100 lb total weight loss. These last 15 lbs will most likely be the toughest for me, but I will give it my best shot! Good luck everyone!)

W2 12/8: 193 (upped my workouts this past week, but have been eating back all my calories...apparently not enough! I'll take it though We'll see if it holds by next week.)
W3 12/15: 191.6 (Thought for sure I would gain some back this week but reduced my salt intake and not retaining as much water now.)

W8 1/19: 187.8 (Slow, steady, and healthy as I get closer to my ultimate goal of 180 lbs..my setting on MFP is to lose 1/2 lb per week now. I had a really good week, exercise wise. Pushed it when I didn't feel like it at the time.)

What I've learned about myself : That I need to figure out my plan of attack, I'm not doing so well. I have a lot of goals but seem to be unable to focus which causes me to be all over the place, and as anyone can see, it isn't working!!!2 -

W4 12/22: 216 - Too lax on the holiday party eating but close to my milestone goal of 215 by EOY.
W5 12/29: 218.3 - Arrgh! Too many Bowl games, soft pretzel bites & beer. Disappointed December is a write-off.
W6 1/5: 215 - A few days late to hit my 2019 year-end goal but I'll take the late win!
W7 1/12: 213.5 - Daily High Knees, Climbers & Flutter Kicks (Jan exercise challenge) and healthy eating are doing the job.

What I've learned about myself:
Wow this weekend was nuts! I felt like garbage yesterday because of my food choices over the weekend. Note To Self: don't eat poorly three days in a row. I knew it was going to be one of those weekends so I made sure to eat well every day and kept moving over the week. I am happy to say it seems to have paid off. When I first started trying to loose weight I set a goal 160, I have since adjusted after realizing it was possible and I can do it. Even knowing I have long way left to go to healthy goal weight I am thrilled to be so close to goal one! Pushing hard this week!

Is there some way you can contribute food for this gathering, or bring some healthy options for yourself? I've had success bringing a big salad or veggies and hummus for all, or even yogurt and fruit for myself. I suppose it depends on your situation. Drink lots of water- a glass before every meal will help. Don't let yourself be at the mercy of everyone else's food choices. I've never had success that way. Journalling will help too, and keeping your portions "kid-sized" instead of super-size. Go in with some strategy, even if it's just limiting your desserts. Remember to focus on the company and not the food. Good luck this weekend!2 -

I'm not losing! 3.4 lbs in 6 weeks! I was hoping to have lost 6lbs.
Bimonthly report (since I forgot to check in for 2 weeks)
Sleep: Increased by another 30mins, reaching 8hrs average!
Calories: loosely tracked, mostly around goal.
Net carbs: 40ish. Still within the range, but on the upper hand.
Exercise: nothing.
Water: still 5 cups average.

W11 2/9: 209.7 - Despite a crazy calorie day yesterday (which I paid for), it was a good week!
What I'm learning: Everyone needs a cheat day every once in a while and celebrating your kids birthday and date night with your wife sounds like a much better excuse than some crummy fast food meal because you didn't plan and prepare ahead of time. I was a full pound less on Saturday but am still down for the week so no regrets!

What I've learned about myself: I've indulged a couple of times this week with 2 birthdays to celebrate. I was able to still lose because I didn't cave under pressure to eat even more. I had to choose between desserts and had only one, where in the past I'd just eat them all. And gain. I went out to lunch with friends and ate a small portion instead of my usual big plate. I was hungry later but then had a piece of fruit. Keep making healthier choices my friends!3 -
