    I've lost a little more than 20 pounds since late July, but I've been slipping up lately and not hitting my calorie target as consistently as I was earlier in the process. My goal for December is to finish the year strong and get back into the "normal" BMI range (<157 lbs).

    Goal weight this month: 156.9 (revised goal as of 12/17: 159.6)

    01 Dec: 163.7 - stayed on track with my diet; no exercise

    Back again. Starting the month out with a bit of inflated number due to way to much alcohol, food from Thanksgiving, eating out the last couple of days, and had a 5 day weekend with my family. Hopefully once I get back to work on Monday it will drop off fairly quickly. My lowest in November right before Thanksgiving was 137.7 and I am hoping to be back in the 130's by the end of the first week.

    May gained: 1.1 pounds (149.3)
    June lost: 3.4 pounds (145.9)
    July lost: 2.2 pounds (143.7)
    August lost: 0.1 pounds (143.6) maintained
    September lost: 2.7 pounds (140.9)

    So I went off track and regained all lost weight so I am starting again and this time I mean business!

    This month I have so many events centered around eating. If I can get to 135, I will be thrilled. I was 137.2 before the Thanksgiving weekend, I think the first 3 pounds will come off easy, but not sure if I will lose any more this month. It is definitely going to be a yo-yo on the scales with all the big food events.

    01 Dec: 140.2 😬 gained 3 pounds over the weekend at my mother-in-laws for Thanksgiving. I am sure much of it was water weight, but I also enjoyed the meals and pies.

    16 Dec: 139.4 😫😯Wow! What a little (ok a lot) of alcohol🤪, and a lot of desserts will do to your weight. My daughter's party👩‍🎓🎓🍾🥂 was SO much work to get ready... I got in 30,000 steps that day, but it was SO nice and fun once it started! Here is to hoping I get down to 135 before Friday... I am wearing a REALLY tight dress💃 to another company dinner... I know spanks will help, but they are not miracle workers😊.
    17 Dec: 137.4 😯😁 Going back down, again. While this is getting tiresome, the only other choice is to just not eat at my celebrations, which would really not go over well with the family, or in some instances, even possible. So, the yo-yo weight will continue through December. I still have high hopes I will meet my month goal of 135, then hit my target goal weight of 129.5 in January.
    My bad days for the rest of December includes this Thursday, my companys luncheon (going to try to stay within my calorie budget this day)👩‍🏫🥗, this Friday, my husband's company dinner (this will be a high calorie day)💃🍷🍸, Christmas Eve🎄🎅, Christmas Day🎅🤶, December 28, high school friends yearly get together👭, and New Year Eve🥂🎉.

    7 days since weighing. Down 1.2 pounds. Have committed this time around to lose 1lb per week, possibly less. It's hard to realize that the older I am, the harder it is to lose and dropping 5lbs in a week is just not realistic anymore. I'm trying to re-set that thought process and commit to logging every day and losing 1lb per week.

    Looking at all the posters' numbers, and seeing your 'slow but sure' numbers coming down - had I committed to this 2 months ago, I would be down 8lbs by now!

    13 Dec: 14st 7.7 (+1.0lb / -4.4lb).  Only ate just over 900 cal yesterday - had planned a special pudding to have once kids had gone to bed, but started having horrendous period cramps, so just crawled in bed and  stayed there and never finished what I had planned to eat.  Will have to figure out how to fit it into today's budget!  Assuming the fluctuations are TOTM relates so trying not the get frustrated with an increase in the scales!

    I've lost a little more than 20 pounds since late July, but I've been slipping up lately and not hitting my calorie target as consistently as I was earlier in the process. My goal for December is to finish the year strong and get back into the "normal" BMI range (<157 lbs).

    Goal weight this month: 156.9 (revised goal as of 12/17: 159.6)

    01 Dec: 163.7 - stayed on track with my diet; no exercise

    This month I have so many events centered around eating. If I can get to 135, I will be thrilled. I was 137.2 before the Thanksgiving weekend, I think the first 3 pounds will come off easy, but not sure if I will lose any more this month. It is definitely going to be a yo-yo on the scales with all the big food events.

    01 Dec: 140.2 😬 gained 3 pounds over the weekend at my mother-in-laws for Thanksgiving. I am sure much of it was water weight, but I also enjoyed the meals and pies.
    02 Dec: 139.0 😏 already starting to come down.
    03 Dec: 137.8 😏 almost back to pre-Thankgiving weight
    04 Dec: 137.2 😊Back to what I was before the weekend.
    05 Dec: 136.4 😃That was a nice surprise.
    06 Dec: 135.9 😁 YAY! But now I am at the airport flying to Las Vegas for a weekend of good friends, laughter and lots of good food! I am sure I will gain a few pounds over the next 2 days, but the plan is to lose them and a tiny bit more throughout next week, then next weekend of more festivities!

I will be fighting to recoop my weight again next week, but that will be the story of December.

    16 Dec: 139.4 😫😯Wow! What a little (ok a lot) of alcohol🤪, and a lot of desserts will do to your weight. My daughter's party👩‍🎓🎓🍾🥂 was SO much work to get ready... I got in 30,000 steps that day, but it was SO nice and fun once it started! Here is to hoping I get down to 135 before Friday... I am wearing a REALLY tight dress💃 to another company dinner... I know spanks will help, but they are not miracle workers😊.
    17 Dec: 137.4 😯😁 Going back down, again. While this is getting tiresome, the only other choice is to just not eat at my celebrations, which would really not go over well with the family, or in some instances, even possible. So, the yo-yo weight will continue through December. I still have high hopes I will meet my month goal of 135, then hit my target goal weight of 129.5 in January.
    My bad days for the rest of December includes this Thursday, my company's luncheon (going to try to stay within my calorie budget this day)👩‍🏫🥗, this Friday, my husband's company dinner (this will be a high calorie day)💃🍷🍸, Christmas Eve🎄🎅, Christmas Day🎅🤶, December 28, high school friends yearly get together👭, and New Year Eve🥂🎉.
    18 Dec: 136.4 😊😁 Coming down! 1 more pound and I will be back to my lowest this month. I would love to hit 135 by Friday! We will see!
    😫PS: LOST MY FITBIT SHOPPING YESTERDAY!😡😤 I know I lost it at 1:00 pm that is when it stopped syncing. Now to figure out where I was at 1 pm, and go back there. Is there a way for your GPS on your phone tell you where you were at a certain time?🙄

    15 Dec: 170.4 Wait, whaaaaat? OK, so a full week of yo-yoing and suddenly it drops. I'll take it, but hope it sticks.

    Down 1.4 since last week. Staying on track, logging every day. Woke up with a horrible sore throat, several students at school were sick last week, although I have a very strong immune system, it seems its got me this time around.

    Back again. Starting the month out with a bit of inflated number due to way to much alcohol, food from Thanksgiving, eating out the last couple of days, and had a 5 day weekend with my family. Hopefully once I get back to work on Monday it will drop off fairly quickly. My lowest in November right before Thanksgiving was 137.7 and I am hoping to be back in the 130's by the end of the first week.

    May gained: 1.1 pounds (149.3)
    June lost: 3.4 pounds (145.9)
    July lost: 2.2 pounds (143.7)
    August lost: 0.1 pounds (143.6) maintained
    September lost: 2.7 pounds (140.9)
    October lost: 0.2 pounds (140.7) maintained

    So I went off track and regained all lost weight so I am starting again and this time I mean business!

I have never noticed before but looking back over last three months, I have gained about 1Kg/2.2lbs in the same three days leading up. If it does it next month I’ll be convinced it’s not a coincidence. Not sure if it’s a fluid thing or a bad food choice thing (that adds fluid) because I know that’s a problem around there for me. I dislike cooking and I always end up baking something like biscuits or cheesecake something high Cal’s. So interesting!! 😃
