Putting recipes in MFP database

I can’t get this right! How do I enter a recipe into this system? If a recipe is 4 servings do I break down each ingredient to be 1/4th of the ingredient or is there somewhere I’m missing where you enter how many servings the recipe is?

OK. Got 1 recipe in great. 2nd recipe let me put in ingredients but then I missed the step where it let me put in the instructions. Ugh! Is my only option to delete the recipe and start over?

There’s no place to enter instructions when you’re entering recipes manually, unfortunately.

If you’re importing a recipe from elsewhere on the internet MFP will import the instructions along with the ingredients (usually).

You either contact the site developers or just start creating foods and check the box that makes them available to all users.

The recipe builder is only meant to calculate nutrition, not as a recipe "box" so there isn't a place to input instructions. As Barbara said above, you can link to the instructions when importing a recipe but you can't input instructions manually.
