And, all the pro grade products have light scent... I think in an effort to not compete with pricey perfumes.
But, I do recall when I was small, shampoos had a lovely, strong smell... Herbal Essence, Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific. The latter is still made today, but was sold to a co in the Philippines & now costs $15 + S&H/bottle. The smell is intoxicating though... but, $20 for a shampoo is a lot, cuz I've got a ton of hair... never lasts long.
Rather than smelling just clean, I like my hair to have a strong scent. Surely there must be some shampoos with a stronger scent today? In the meantime, I'll have a Gucci mane... lol.
