Managing Protein

MFP has a 60g protein goal on my 1200 calorie diet. I am having problems meeting my calories while maintaining only 60 grams of protein. Any suggestions on no protein foods?

There's not much I can recommend without seeing your food intake specifically. you can inbox me and we can go over and review exactly where you're eating and hopefully break it down to make it work.1

60g isn't a maximum it's a minimum intake.
Protein is approximately 4 cals per gram so that's only around 240 cals.
This is a great link for hep with macros: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10636388/free-customized-personal-weight-loss-eating-plan-not-spam-or-mlm/p19 -

Also, why would you need to see the OP's specific intake when the right answer is what tinkerbellang83 said?
@nationalvillage3215
No need to limit yourself to 60 g of protein. In fact, it's probably a bad idea.11 -

There is absolutely no need for the OP to PM you about this. I'm always rather wary of anyone wanting to take advice off-board. Especially when the answer to the question is very, very simple.
OP, as others have said, that's a minimum recommendation for protein intake, and actually one that many here feel is a bit on the low side. It's based on the RDA for someone who is fairly sedentary, and not trying to lose weight, and as others have said, is a minimum. It's a good idea to aim for higher during weight loss, to help preserve muscle mass.
Your calorie intake is what counts for weight loss, not your macros. Those you can play around with a bit to fit your lifestyle and food preferences, while making sure you meet at least the minimum requirements for protein and fat.13 -

@nationalvillage3215 , since you're new to the private message feature, you should know that if you're ever uncomfortable with a private message you receive (and it can come from people who haven't even engaged with you on the public forums -- just out of the blue), you can block and/or report them.
from the community guidelines:
8. Ensure private information stays private
I WILL:
I will check my profile privacy settings.
I will report suspicious or malicious messages to MyFitnessPal Staff or Moderators.
I will block users who send unwanted messages.

Thank you everyone. I obviously am not up to speed like many of you on the features of this site (ie, I have no idea what an OP is), but I will follow tinker bell's advise.5

It means "original post" or "original poster"

I completely agree that there's no need to take things here to Private Messages, especially since the advice that has been given out in the open has been solid.
Many times people with something to sell you use this technique to recruit business. And since soliciting/advertising in the open here is against the rules, they want to engage with people privately.
Not saying that's the case here.
But when someone unknown to the community pops into a thread, immediately positions themselves as a knowledgeable authority and wants to engage privately instead of helping publicly, history has shown that their intentions may not be honourable.
