Hi! I'm looking for tips and advice on how to gain weight. I'm 7 stone 10 and 5ft 5inches so am small. I eat about 2,000 calories on average per day but never gain weight. I am attending a PT and doing resistance training. It's been 4 weeks now and not a single pound Gained, if anything I look smaller. Any tips on what to eat? I used to be heavier (nearly 9 stone) but lost the weight after a break up. Please give tips!!! Am also lactose intolerant so struggle to get Protein through dairy products.

Are you tracking your intake on here, using a food scale to weigh your food? It can be an eye opener since you might be overestimating your intake, also helps keep you on track to make sure you eat all planned meals. If you are weighing and your intake is right on and you still aren't gaining you might need to increase it above 2000.
What helps me, liquid calories.. juices, smoothies. Also nuts, butters, higher fat foods. In terms of protein meats, fatty fish (like salmon), eggs.

High protein foods, see this:

For most people, higher fat foods are a better contributor for weight gain, because they're more calorie dense. More about that (in a weight gain context) here:

Combine the two, maybe fattier meats or fish, full fat dairy, assuming you're omnivorous.0
