Why am I not dropping?

So I've been pretty diligent about tracking everyday, hit my step goals (8,000/day), full body workouts 3 days/week. So far I've dropped between 45-50 lbs in the last 6 months (super stoked by this); however in the last month or so i keep fluctuating in the 270-275 range. I'm eating <2100 which is around a 30% reduction from my TDEE. I know one day i'll weigh 270 the next day i'll be 275 and I know I did not eat 17,500 calories that previous day over maintenance. Why is my body being so stubborn? Any tips to get this moving downward again? Thanks!

How long have you been doing that level of exercise and steps per day? Have you reduced your calorie goal since you began losing weight?2

i've been doing full body since July 2019 3 days per week. I might have missed 6 total workouts in that amount of time. I just upped my step goal last month from 6k to 8k due to a promotion at work that has me sitting more. I started around 2700 calories and every month or so i look at my weight and readjust my calories. I've been at 2100 for about 2 months now. I make sure to hit around 205g of protein per day.0 -
Congratulations on your loss so far, that's no mean feat!
How are you tracking your food - estimating, measuring cups/spoons or scale?
It may just be that you've got to the point where you no longer have a margin of error for intake/output and you're no longer in a deficit.
or you may just need a break.

I would say 90% of the time i measure very accurately with my food scale. Wife just bought me a new one for my bday that's bigger too! I'll check those articles!0 -

That other 10% of the time might be where you're bumping up closer to maintenance.2 -

Possibly, but could it really bump me back up 800 calories? I usually dont weigh things like small apples (i dont eat cores).0 -

Best of luck! Come back and let us know how you get on!1 -
I would make sure to track and measure 100%, 6.66 tbsp of olive oil over a week is 800 calories, calorie dense foods can sneak up on you.
You could try reducing your over all calories by 100-200 a day for the next few weeks and see how it affects weight loss. Take a little more off each week until you get what you are looking for.
Short term water weight can make it seem totally out of wack so look at the entire month also.1
