Gastric Sleeve Surgery

My internist mentioned this to me. Part of the reason is so that it will take some pressure off the liver (I have liver disease, non-alcoholic fibroids) and also to make weight loss a little bit easier. I know it's permanent. I know it's got some risks. But what I don't know- and googling seems to take me to every weight loss ad site on the net- is what it's like to do it before, and after.

Has anyone had this done? If so, could you perhaps tell me what your experience was like? I believe in hearing from those who have been through it or are going through it when it comes to medical stuff.
