Tracking macros to gain weight. Help!

Hi, I am 28 5’0, weigh 135. I been wanting to gain weight, and I decided to finally get serious about it. I’ve been working out for a month. Been tracking my macros but I’m still very new to this and I keep going way over mY carbs.and I still can’t manage to eat enough protein. I need help!

    Are your stats right? At 5 ft and 135 do you want to gain? I’m same weight as you and 8 inches taller and I want to lose 5 pounds.....

    You are already in the overweight category, are you already very muscular? Is there an aesthetic goal you want that you think requires gaining weight?

    How many grams of protein are you trying to reach, and how far off are you?

    Macro goals are just general guidelines,you don't have to hit them perfectly, and it can take some trial and error to move them closer to goal over time. I found planning my meals and snacks around protein really helped.
