Sunday Funday
Three Weeks Ago: 195.0
Two Weeks Ago: 194.0
Last Week: 195.0
Today: 192.8
A loss of 2.2 lbs! I'm happy
Goals for this week — keep up with the things that have been working (water, journaling) and figure out how to adjust from almost daily walks to whatever I'm going to do now that the roads are dark, icy (if not snowy) before/after work. An earlier start to my work day to allow for a longer mid-day break may be the ticket...1 -
Sunday, 07:35...It's Weights & Measures Day!
Last week I registered an amazing 5 lbs loss, this figure was probably skewed due to being very ill earlier in the week. What will the Scaly Beast and the Treacherous Tape have to say today?....
Weekly
Weight was 299 lbs....Now 301.8....A gain of 2.8 lbs
November's Stats
Weight
Was 307.6....Now 301.8....Monthly loss of 5.8 lbs
Measurements
Neck was 47 cm....Now 48 cm....Increase of 1 cm (not sure how that happened, maybe mis-measured?)
Waist was 131....Now 127....A loss of 4 cm
Chest was 132 cm....Now 132 cm....No change
B.M.I. was 38.1....Now 37.4....Reduced by .7
My monthly goals were all missed unfortunately.
I was rather hoping to be below 300 lbs today but the overall trend is downwards and, to be honest, I expected the scaly beast to show exactly what it showed.
I lost a lot of water before last weeks scales day and the body wanted it back.
Overall, not too shabby a month. Lost just under 6 lbs, the belly is shrinking, I am ahead of schedule and all the numbers are going in the right direction!
Now for a nice cuppa and set my goals for this month...
So proud of you!
You are such a positive inspiration. 🌟🌟0 -

I don't know if this will work, but I'm posting an image of a Google chart I created to track my progress.
this week's successes: still on track. added some resistance training (but overdid it)
this week's challenges: pulled a muscle, so activity is minimal for a few days3 -

@Smee1961 you have shown very good progress!! 19 weeks and having a consistent losing streak. I could use some support too, feeling very static. I don't write down my progress until monthly, so i sometimes lose sight of the progress I have made. Guess what that does? right, makes me add calories.....ugh. So I am going to start getting weighed every day for a while, just to keep that tracking mindset going. I have been diligent and honest about my tracking, but can see a little "calorie creep" happening.2

Today I finally found the courage to step on the scale after 4 weeks, not bad, lost .4 lbs, which was actually a surprise. Time to get serous about getting healthy!3

To help keep my spirits up I made a graph to show my progress over the weeks. I update it every Sunday morning, when I have little set backs like this week, it helps to keep me on track.

The first thing I do every morning is weigh myself, then update a Google spreadsheet with the data, then view a couple resulting charts of that data. It shows me where I am, where I've been, and hopefully where I'm going. Of course weighing daily, I see a lot of fluctuations, but the dips give me satisfaction and the bumps keep me motivated.1 -
Hi All!
I saw 210.8 on the scale today... my goal from now until Sunday is to keep it that way.
I’ve been bouncing between 211 and 213 for weeks now.
I decided to be diligent with logging again...and eating within my calories... and it’s working.
We just need to get through the rest of this year... and continue our amazing progress into 2021!!4 -
It’s Friday and the scale has me at 209.7..... that’s below 210 people! All food has been logged today so far. It’s pizza night, so the plan is one slice and a big salad. 👍
Wish me luck!

I'm a little disappointed today, but not discouraged.
I've gained a pound since last week, but I'm still 4.2 pounds lighter than 2 weeks ago.
week 20: 288.8 (-41.2 total pounds lost)
week 21: 283.5 (-46.5 total pounds lost)
week 22 (today): 284.6 (-45.4 total pounds lost)
I've read about the "whoosh effect", and I'm hoping that partly explains it. But I did pull a muscle this past week and haven't exercised nearly as much, so that's part of it as well. I don't expect to be able to maintain my 2 pound/week pace through New Year's, but that's okay, as long as I keep pursuing my goal.
According to my scale, I've dropped from around 55% body fat to 45% body fat, so that's something to celebrate. If I keep this up, in no time at all I'll only be mildly obese, instead of morbidly obese!
It's a long hard road, but we can get there! (Merry Christmas to all and Best Wishes!)5 -
I awoke to the snarling of the Scaly Beast.
Today was scales day once again and the beast was about to pounce. What would the outcome be?
Weight was, 301.8 lbs....Now, 299 lbs....A loss of 2.8 lbs
I would have been a happy chap to see the scale at 300-301 lbs. To see it once again below the 300, this time without illness, is fantastic!
Now to capitalise on this by losing next week, that is the goal.2 -

You’re doing great! Fluctuations are part of the game. Look how far you’ve come!1 -

Sunday Funday
Three Weeks Ago: 194.0
Two Weeks Ago: 195.0
Last Week: 192.8
Today: 189.0
Down 3.8 lbs and achieved my short-term goal of below 190!
To be honest, I had been seeing sneak peeks of 190/191 all week but was completely shocked to see this number today. I moved the scale from one location to another, tried leaning forward/backward, and even revisited the scale several times within the first hour to be sure it wasn't a fluke. The number stayed the same, so it must be true!
Goals for last week included upping the exercise game (or at least figuring out how to continue my walks given the change in daylight hours and road conditions). I did NOTHING towards that goal. I WILL make that happen this week.1 -
