Hi, This is a bit harder than I remembered from previous times. I forgot just how many some items in my diet, like a slice of ham to top a lettuce salad, had. I also realized just how sedentary I have gotten. I definitely have areas to focus on, like better pre-planning of what I plan to eat. I will also be more intentional about my water intake.

This. Sucks. I had to somewhat abruptly stop breastfeeding this past week and it is wreaking havoc on my body 😭 Cramping, headaches, mood swings, engorged breasts, and crazy weight fluctuations. Truly hoping by next week things start to settle out. It is discouraging to be eating at a deficit and watching the numbers jump all over drastically. One day it was almost a 5lb shift 😔7 -

Sep 8: I was very active over the long weekend, but also, ate lots of sodium laden & calorific foods. While I also had some cool NSV's over this past week, I'm noticing a trend that the weight is very slowly going up rather than down over the past few weeks. Time to nip that now and get focused on reaching my goal this month.
Sep 1: In the August Weight Loss Challenge, I ended the challenge yesterday with scale readings of 155-157. This morning, I got readings of 150.5 and 152. I'm a broken record about my wonky scale, and at this point, I should probably just get a new scale. Ugh. Anyone have scale recommendations?

Hi everyone! Hope I'm not posting twice because my last post got deleted. I'm 35 and from Washington, USA. I moved here two years ago from Vancouver, Canada and put on a bunch of weight due to a new lifestyle involving ways too much takeout, pop, and general overindulgence! I'm looking forward to getting back on track through being more mindful about the calories and types of food I'm consuming.

Following strict Keto, drinking only water and doing intermittent fasting for 13 hours/day. I realize alot was excess fluid I had been retaining but I'm still LOVING IT!0 -

Sept 9...I guess I did better than I thought, was pleasantly surprised by the scale this morning. I haven't been very mobile because of pain in my legs and hip, seeing a chiropractor but not helping yet, hope to do some walking this week. Thanks for the challenge, it helped me this past week for sure!
