    I like to weigh every day to keep me accountable - knowing that I will be weighing in the morning sometimes stops me from continuing to eat at night : - )
    My name is Dawn. 60 year old female
    I live in South East British Columbia Canada
    MFP start date October 28.18 - SW 191
    Ultimate goal weight - 112 - 115

    My previous 3 rounds:
    The 1st one:
    Nov 22.19 ending February 29.20 – Start weight 158.1 EW 154.4 Total loss over 100 days: 3.7
    The 2nd one:
    March 01 - June 08.20 Start weight 154.4 EW 151.7 Total loss over 100 days 2.7 pounds
    The 3rd one:
    June 09 - September 16th Start weight 151.2 EW 142.3 Total loss over 100 days 8.9 pounds
    3 rounds of 100 days each total results = 15.3 pounds lost

    I started tracking my excess calories each day last round, those in the Green at the end of the tracking day. My results (based on 1200 calories per day) from 100 days were 78,627 - which over 100 days should lead to 7.86 pound loss, and I actually lost 8.9, so pretty good.

    Day 1: Thurs, 9/17: 141.7 - I expect to get a lot of activity on my trip, but today is a driving day so I will have a nice workout before I leave. 919 in the green

    Day 4: Sun 9/17 - 141.0 - My 60th birthday weight


    Day 18: Sun, 10/4: 143.5 - 3 days at the same weight is totally new to me, i usually fluctuate like crazy. 492 in the Green.
    Day 19: Mon, 10/5: 143.1 - Nice to see a drop today. I always have more time for workouts on the weekends. 735 in the green.
    Day 20: Tues, 10/6: 142.1 - That is better. 912 in the Green
    Day 21: Wed, 10/7: 141.5 - I don't normally lose very quickly, so suspecting that my stress gain from going back to work after 2 weeks of holidays is just evening out? 989 in the Green
    Day 22: Thurs, 10/8: 139.6 - Woohoo! 904in the Green
    Day 23: Fri, 10/9: 141.3 - More of a realistic number, but still glad to have touched the 130s : - ) 833 in the Green
    Day 24: Sat, 10/10: 142.3 - Disappointed to end with this number. Mostly because I wanted a lower weight heading into 3 days of Canadian Thanksgiving eating. (Can't wait for the stuffing and gravy, and won't be giving it up) 499 in the Green

    4th Week Goal Weight: 141.0 - lol, trying to get back to my 60th birthday weight still : - )
    4th Week Actual Weight: 142.3 - I was all over the place during this week.
    Excess Calories burned this week: 5364 - Definitely enough to lose a pound!

    STARTING WEIGHT: 211.3

    Day 01 – 09/17 ….210.8…..Very Pleased. This is a nice way to start! Good luck everyone!
    Day 02 – 09/18 ....210.6….. Happy Dance!
    Day 03 – 09/19 ….211.2….. canned soup with crackers. Too much sodium but had no time to cook yesterday.
    Day 04 – 09/20 ….210.8….. Better!
    Day 05 - 09/21 …..211.0….. not a bad little increase after movie night with son and some pizza.
    Day 06 – 09/22 …..210.8….. Traveled today so tomorrow will be pitiful. Going to get very diligent to knock it back into the atmosphere. No extra fat allowed to hang around here. Time to go!
    Day 07 – 09/23 …..212.0….. After travel. I will work on this today.
    Day 08 – 09/24 …..210.8….. Traveled again but kept it to one meal and a small snack and I was rewarded!
    Day 09 – 09/25 …..211.6….. I hate gaining when there is no apparent reason why. Yesterday was a pretty good day. However, there was not much movement due to all the special meetings I had. So today I will focus on more movement and cautiously go to the grocery store for more water (which is a little scary on a Friday in this small tourist town). Hydration may be key today. Flush, flush, flush.
    Day 10 – 09/26 …..211.4…..
    Day 11 – 09/27 …..211.2….. I am not getting where I want to be in a very healthy way. Even with the scale going down I am not super happy. I know I avoided meals yesterday and just ate too much junk. It may have been lower calories overall and it may have caused a decrease on the scale but it is all about healthy and sustainable. I vow to have a better day today. One day at a time, right?
    Day 12 – 09/28 …..209.8…..Yay!!! Better meals, a bit better movement. I just gotta watch those bad snacks!
    Day 13 – 09/29 …..210.0….. Just a simple fluctuation. I had a very well-balanced day yesterday. Low cal for sure.
    Day 14 – 09/30 …..211.0….. Chinese food yesterday with leftovers today. Still down a tad from the start.

    Day 15 – 10/01 …..211.0…..I finished the last of the Chinese food. Now time for healthier and less sodium!
    Day 16 – 10/02 …..209.0….. Whoosh! Practiced some IF yesterday and tried to keep the calories low (AS THEY SHOULD BE) . I hope today will be another good day!
    Day 17 - 10/03 …..210.4….. I salted my low sodium veggie soup because it tasted sweet and then I cheated with some dessert when I could have just had the soup and called IT dessert! Lesson learned. However, I am still down 1.6 in the last 10 days which is better than I’ve done in awhile so I will try to keep up the momentum. I am hydrating a lot today to offset any bloat.
    Day 18 – 10/04 …..210.0….. Going back down, even with challenges. #nevergiveup
    Day 19 – 10/05 …..211.6….. I ate healthy yesterday but dinner was not until 11:00 pm (busy day). Lots of steps also so this is a shock! No TMI this morning so that doesn’t help. Very disappointing but not disrupting. Staying on track today.
    Day 20 – 10/06 …..209.4….. Whoosh!
    Day 21 – 10/07 …..209.6….. A good day yesterday so this is likely a normal fluctuation.
    Day 22 – 10/08 …..209.8….. Another good day. The slight fluctuation must be from no TMI (potty) x 2 days. Otherwise, all is well. Good choices are being made. Not too much movement due to a pretty yucky foot injury but otherwise, all is well.
    Day 23 – 10/09 …..209.6…..Slightly better but my snacks were cheats last night. Working to stop the midnight madness!
    Day 24 – 10/10 …..210.0…..Fish fry last night. Today I will be extra careful. I am going to go look at Dawn’s videos right now. Pretty exited!

    Thanks for the videos. The first two are a little fast for me since I have become out of practice and out of shape. Lizzo is too quick for me too (right now). All the others are at my current level. But the other 3 I mentioned will give me something to strive for. Thanks for sharing. At only 2 - 3 minutes each, this is much more workable. I am currently smack dab right in the middle of multiple hunting season (as well as fall color tours) at my home based motel & cabin business. Staying way too busy! But I can fit in a bit here and there before I tire out! Thanks again for sharing. BTW, I love almost any type of music. Current, oldies, classic rock, some country. I prefer hip-hop over straight rap however some rap can get me going too. I even like show tunes LOL. Any music or songs that are done well.

    You know that it is fun for me if someone else tries them : - )

    To me, #1 (Bussin') and 6 (Phone) are the easiest and quickest to pick up.

    Some days I do like one or 2 after a pee break, either on my phone, TV, laptop, desktop and I just accumulate the numbers throughout the day.
    Today I did a whole bunch in a row because it was still cold outside. Today is the only day without rain forecast and I have a crapload to do in the garden/yard because it is going to be minus 2 overnight this week!!!! (Celsius)
    I wanted to make sure that I was good and stretched out and warmed up by Fitness Marshall before doing digging and stuff.
    I have to save my peppers, tomatoes, onions. I covered them all in the blustery weather yesterday, but I fear that I must harvest or lose them.

    I knew that you liked all kinds of music, me too.
    I wasn't familiar at all with any of the new stuff until I began Fitness Marshall a year ago. Gaga, Blackpink, Nikki Minaj, Ariana Grande, BTS, Halsey, and so many more.

    Yes, I thought that you might be able to fit them in here and there in your very busy time with your resort. I figure that you will be very busy right until after US Thanksgiving.

    I started tracking my excess calories each day last round, those in the Green at the end of the tracking day. My results (based on 1200 calories per day) from 100 days were 78,627 - which over 100 days should lead to 7.86 pound loss, and I actually lost 8.9, so pretty good.

    Day 1: Thurs, 9/17: 141.7 - I expect to get a lot of activity on my trip, but today is a driving day so I will have a nice workout before I leave. 919 in the green

    Day 18: Sun, 10/4: 143.5 - 3 days at the same weight is totally new to me, i usually fluctuate like crazy. 492 in the Green.

    NOTE TO SELF & Sharing my thoughts: Sorry for the rambling but it was on my mind this morning. It is all about focus and not forgetting that I'm in this to change habits and discover how to live at a lower weight day to day, month to month, year to year. I have always had an official WI day (currently Mondays). Over the years I've tried Fridays because it gave me the freedom to let loose on the weekend and then make it up on the weekdays. I've had Sunday WW meetings that kept me accountable on Saturday night. I've tried Wednesdays because many times it is my lowest WI for the week. Mondays though just seem to hold me in check over the weekend and let me reflect on the week to come.
    But in August I decided to join a few challenges (some I joined in 2019 when losing back then). What I discovered was that each challenge helped to focus me every day because I'm accountable for WI and ending a round at random intervals. No longer tied to just my "official Monday WIs".
    - Just Give Me 10 Days - 10 days is great! More than a week. Never ends on the same day of the week. Gives me the opportunity to tackle the number on the scaled daily and refresh/reset my thinking on a regular basis.
    - 2020Lose 52 Pounds in 52 Weeks Challenge - There it is... a weekly official WI with a note to self on the success of the past week and what challenges I'm facing for the next week.
    - 100 Days of Weighing In - Longer range view that I can set a target on the scale and work towards whittling down the bigger goal. Daily WIs with weekly WI on Saturdays (notice again a different day of the week examine my progress).
    - Less Alcohol monthly thread One Day at a Time - Tackling an issue that reduces my resistance to staying in control of what else I might consume while drinking or afterward. Also those extra calories are not needed in my daily life!
    - 12 week challenge starting Aug 26th - Least active group but gives me a shorter perspective than the overwhelming large number I'm tackling to lose and it is longer than a week or 10 days but shorter than 52 weeks or 100 days. AND I'm able to check in weekly on Tuesdays which again helps me continue to examine and focus.

    Taking the time in the mornings to reflect, drink my coffee, note the progress and post ... gets me headed in the right mindset for the rest of the day.

    Day 01 – 09/17 ….210.8…..Very Pleased. This is a nice way to start! Good luck everyone!
    Day 02 – 09/18 ....210.6….. Happy Dance!
    Day 03 – 09/19 ….211.2….. canned soup with crackers. Too much sodium but had no time to cook yesterday.
    Day 04 – 09/20 ….210.8….. Better!
    Day 05 - 09/21 …..211.0….. not a bad little increase after movie night with son and some pizza.
    Day 06 – 09/22 …..210.8….. Traveled today so tomorrow will be pitiful. Going to get very diligent to knock it back into the atmosphere. No extra fat allowed to hang around here. Time to go!
    Day 07 – 09/23 …..212.0….. After travel. I will work on this today.
    Day 08 – 09/24 …..210.8….. Traveled again but kept it to one meal and a small snack and I was rewarded!
    Day 09 – 09/25 …..211.6….. I hate gaining when there is no apparent reason why. Yesterday was a pretty good day. However, there was not much movement due to all the special meetings I had. So today I will focus on more movement and cautiously go to the grocery store for more water (which is a little scary on a Friday in this small tourist town). Hydration may be key today. Flush, flush, flush.

    Day 11 – 09/27 …..211.2….. I am not getting where I want to be in a very healthy way. Even with the scale going down I am not super happy. I know I avoided meals yesterday and just ate too much junk. It may have been lower calories overall and it may have caused a decrease on the scale but it is all about healthy and sustainable. I vow to have a better day today. One day at a time, right?
    Day 12 – 09/28 …..209.8…..Yay!!! Better meals, a bit better movement. I just gotta watch those bad snacks!
    Day 13 – 09/29 …..210.0….. Just a simple fluctuation. I had a very well-balanced day yesterday. Low cal for sure.
    Day 14 – 09/30 …..211.0….. Chinese food yesterday with leftovers today. Still down a tad from the start.

    Day 16 – 10/02 …..209.0….. Whoosh! Practiced some IF yesterday and tried to keep the calories low (AS THEY SHOULD BE) . I hope today will be another good day!
    Day 17 - 10/03 …..210.4….. I salted my low sodium veggie soup because it tasted sweet and then I cheated with some dessert when I could have just had the soup and called IT dessert! Lesson learned. However, I am still down 1.6 in the last 10 days which is better than I’ve done in awhile so I will try to keep up the momentum. I am hydrating a lot today to offset any bloat.
    Day 18 – 10/04 …..210.0….. Going back down, even with challenges. #nevergiveup
    Day 19 – 10/05 …..211.6….. I ate healthy yesterday but dinner was not until 11:00 pm (busy day). Lots of steps also so this is a shock! No TMI this morning so that doesn’t help. Very disappointing but not disrupting. Staying on track today.

    Day 21 – 10/07 …..209.6….. A good day yesterday so this is likely a normal fluctuation.
    Day 22 – 10/08 …..209.8….. Another good day. The slight fluctuation must be from no TMI (potty) x 2 days. Otherwise, all is well. Good choices are being made. Not too much movement due to a pretty yucky foot injury but otherwise, all is well.
    Day 23 – 10/09 …..209.6…..Slightly better but my snacks were cheats last night. Working to stop the midnight madness!
    Day 24 – 10/10 …..210.0…..Fish fry last night. Today I will be extra careful. I am going to go look at Dawn’s videos right now. Pretty exited!

    Day 21: Wed, 10/7: 222.5 Walked 3 miles in the evening after 5 hr drive home, 1489 cal, 28 net carbs, AF. Bye bye higher carbs, cake, fried fish and happy hour alcohol … I’m back home & tackling the number on the scale again.
    Day 22: Thurs, 10/8: 220.8 Walked 4 miles, 1214 cal, 22 net carbs, AF. Nice to see the drop on my own scale! Hoping to hold on to this or even see the 219.x I saw once earlier this week at the camp.
    Day 23: Fri, 10/9: 221.1 Walked 3 miles, 1226 cal, 14 net carbs, AF.
    Day 24: Sat, 10/10: 220.0 Walked 4 miles, bike 15 min, 1488 cal, 25 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. 💜😊💜

    4th Week Goal Weight: 220.something
    4th Week Actual Weight: 220.0 Hit my 10% loss goal! Nice to see that final zero this morning … now to tackle the teens!
