So for the last 5 weeks I have been walking 5-7km a day almost every day (at a good pace) and eating 1200-1400 calories a day max. In that time I have lost 2kg and somehow put 1kg back on (no idea how that happened) so essentially I have only lost 1kg in 5 weeks! So disheartening as I have worked so hard. Just a bit of info about me:- 55yo. 161cm, CW 82kg. Lost 21kg easily 3 years ago but unfortunately have put 10kg back on which I am trying to lose! Why is it so hard/slow this time?

Weight loss takes time and often goes up and down. Ensure to track all food carefully. Consider increasing exercise and adding resistance training.

Can you open your food diary so we can take a look?

did you check each food entry you chose from the database to make sure they listed accurate calories? many of them don't.
