How do I delete everything out of my food diary and start all over

Erasing past entries does not erase the past. Only you know they are there, though. So, with a new day, start anew and just don't look at the old entries if they disturb you. I've been a member of MFP for years and sure don't want to look at older entries. Foods will drop out of the search engine suggestions for different meals as you replace them by choosing new things.4

I don’t know about the web version but certainly (because I’ve just tried) you could go back day by day and simply swipe left on every line entry and delete them that way.
Might take a while, depending on how much data you want to delete, but I suppose, if you want it enough it might be worth it!
Heidi is right though - probably just easier to start afresh from today and look only to the future! You can’t swipe left on the past! 😂1
