go for rings to help healing. then after a few months switch to studs if you like. I had mine for a few years until after my pregnancy. then it just sucked. they may get more sensitive, after all theres a metal bar in them. go for it. didn't really hurt at all, until winter time or someone tugged them.0

Don't know if you really need one more chiming in but...
I had only a small increase in sensitivity. I agree to start with a hoop to get through the healing without snags, wear a formed cup bra unless you want everyone to see them through your clothes, and the clamp hurts more than the piercing. If the clamps don't bother you, you should get through it fine.0
