Body for Life

Has anyone ever tried the diet and workout by Bill Phillips. His book is called Body for Life? I started it 5 weeks ago. I'm feeling great!

    Hello,

    I did it years ago and I lost a lot of weight and felt amazing. I gained weight again only because I got pregnant. I’m actually starting it again now. Hope this helps. Good luck

    It brings back a lot of memories and I'm well aware of this diet. What I will say is, if it's followed correctly you will increase strength, improve your aerobic capacity and lose weight, so in that sense it's better than most. The downside is, it's very intense and I do mean intense if a person is doing it right and that is it's basic flaw. It's designed as a 12 week program. this diet goes back to 1996 and some of the dietary recommendations seem dated today but nothing out in left field. Cheers.
