My dd face-timed us this afternoon. What I wouldn't give to twitch my nose and transport across the states into her living room right now. Even if she says it's supposed to be 110 there tomorrow.4

After very little sleep in about a week I actually got ~5 straight hours of mostly uninterrupted sleep, my eyes are open, there is fresh mountain air filling my lungs, and I’m vertical.
But what’s got me smiling from ear to ear is I got to spend the morning having great conversation while watching the sunrise and sipping blond and sweet coffee with a gal friend who’s very special to me.
Spectacular start to what’s going to be a fantastic day!5 -
Getting a reprieve from moderately hot temps today. Yay!!
And fresh strawberries are coming in my garden by the quarts now. Love love love.4 -
