hey pepper friends...yay, it's almost the weekend!! I am down 1.4 this week to 185.8. Not sure I will reach a mini goal of 184 by next Wednesday...but gonna keep on truckin on. had blood work done earlier then got some groceries....am thinkin loading the cart, putting it on the checkout counter, back in the cart, into the car, out of the car and into the house.....is a workout! then ya gotta put it all away! whew!

Jacque ~ don't worry bout the scale...one day at a time here...just try a little harder....I know you can do this, and you know what you gotta do! hang in there. thinking of you and your family and hoping all is better soon [hugs]

Just wanting to share some of my joy with you. I have been asked to travel with a roller derby team from by seattle up to Idaho and play on their team aginst the idaho teams! This is an awesome oppertunity and it is a once in a lifetime deal. I am so happy to be doing this and just wanted to let you all in on it. It will be happening August 7th! I believe it will be on the television or at least streaming live on Derby News Network. I will let know more about it as it gets closer !

That is so cool missvita. :drinker: I just got back from my sisters house she had a barbque/pool party. it was so hot all I had was two sausages. I just had some strawberries and will get something else in but not feel too well aunt flow decided today was the day (so no swimming for me):grumble:

Finally! We had an 'internet' outage yesterday! Not sure why, but could be related to all of the flooding. If any of you have seen it on the news, we are about 20 minutes from some of it. Ran all weekend but as usual nothing for me. Went to my nephew and fiance plan the wedding party and ate, ate, and ate. Also had wine, something I never do. Spent all day during laundry and cleaning my room which really needed it. Hope to go to the gym tonight after work. Waiting ever not so patientely about sister results. Will; try to keep focus. Well, surprise, surprise... using Jillian again and the wii board, lost weight. And I didn't exercise last week...and aunt flo was around... and didn't eat quite as good as I should have.... Hey, I surprised and thankful for the loss.
Jillian told me I was 170.5

worked in our basement yesterday....pitching, good willing, cleaning and organizing! def need some more room! Dr office called and thyroid, sed rate, hgb & wbc all normal. will prob get lipid results this Fri @ cardiologist appt. Had a busy weekend, still sick I dont think it is just allergies like the doc said because it is in my chest and my neck is stiff coughing up gunk finally the worst was lastnight but feeling a littler better today! Went do wn yesterday to practice with the team that we are going to Idaho with, even though I wasnt feeling to well I did it and might I say they kicked our A@#!!! They are a GREAT team, but it looked as if they were pretty happy with what we brought to the table as well! That is GOOD
so drinking a butt load of hot peppermint tea, if anyone has any home remidies that work (As I am broke right now) let me know so taht I can kick this! THAnks!
Kelly~ It has been nice here, too nice! hot which is 72ish so now it finally feels like summer.
Planning on going back home after the 16th of this month for 2 weeks and visit, although the kids there will be back to school already. The hubby is leaving the 15th of this month for another deployment...8 month or so....:noway: :grumble: :sick: :frown: Kind of sad about it but this far in the game I cant say taht Im not used to it! I just gotta keep busy and focus on my family more then ever and working my butt off so that I can be the next Jillian LOL

Miss V -- I don't think I would get used to deployments either. I have a non mobility position so unless I volunteer, I am not going. Hubby, well, that's anotther story. Lovely day for a walk :laugh: I ended up getting another 15 min walk yesterday :drinker: Will be walking again today. Was way under calories yesterday. Was not very hungry due to auntie flow this week. had over 300 calories left over. Not used to exercise calories.

So good news sis does not have cancer but they are not sure whats going on they think her parathyroid is now going bad. So it will be constant blood monitoring for her. Mom is doing everything she can to orevent having surgery. Last night I had some chinese therapy done to my back which really helped alot. But unfortanally woke up this morning with a sore throat and sinus issues. So here to a new day the wearther is really wet here due to bionnie so if I dont feel too bad I hope to make it to the gyma nd at least walk0

Getting ready for my walk, one of my clients are going with me. :laugh: All of my clients are very supportive and have been around the whole time I have been changing. Would be nice to start a walking group, I tried this once before but everybody takes luches at different times. Now I let them know when I am going if they want to join they do. Sometimes I just like playing my tunes and walking.

Cindy ~ good job with adding 15 min extra yesterday...my extra was the weeds I pulled from my flower beds. seems the weeds are doing better than the flowers this summer! I have a hard time eating all my exercise cals...esp when they get near 2000+. occ'l I a hungry tho and will eat them. enjoy your buddy walk!

Ok, so here's my stats for the last month.....
wt ~ down 1.8 lbs ( 190.2 to 188.4 ) yes, I am up from last Fri!day 19 of my cycle....:grumble:
Did I get it Right ? ( in the 'clean' dept ? ) 17 yes, 13 no, and (6) of those 13 days were only 1 bad meal...def need some work here! I need an overhaul in the veggies dept....it's the season right?
16 days of exercise....I started C25K May 29, and today am on W8D2! The last couple of weeks I have been working on increasing my strength training sessions...from 20 minutes to at least 40. The more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn!:happy:
