Question for men

What weight range do you find the best for women? I am 159 and want to get to 145. My husband says I look good the way I am. But then again he said that when I was almost 200! Is 145 even low enough? I'm only 5'3

I think the better question here is what weight range you find best for yourself.

I never have any idea what a women weighs unless they tell me. I imagine its the same for most other men. I can't imagine you'll get any good info in this thread

whatever you are comfortable and healthy at. This is not a question for anyone but yourself. I would not look for a weight range but more a body fat% that is healthy.

Keep talking like that and she will start doing what makes her happy.

Seriously. Not cool. Not cool at all. We're all here for the same reason, right? To whittle down women's self esteem?

Okay. Not so serious. OP - set your own goals for what you want and will make you happy. Each man will have his own opinion, but the only opinion other than your own that matters is your husband's. Don't second guess what he tells you.

A weight at a specific height can look so different on different women. it all depends on how your body is shaped. I'm 6'4 and people told me I was looking anorexic at 215lbs. You look at another guy at 6'4 and 215 and they'd say he was over weight. The question you asked could get you so many different answers.

Depends on height but I am attracted to different body sizes. I don't like too skinny and I think a lot of thick women are very attractive.

I'm 5'3". When I was 166 my SO thought I looked great. *I* wasn't happy with it and that's really what matters. I have a small frame and I like to be small. My goal is 115.

145 is on the high side for 5'3", unless you have a large frame and a lot of muscle.

^^^AGREE!! It all depends on your frame. Some people of the same height look better at different weights. Just depends how your body is built. But as long as YOU are happy with your weight/health, then that is what is most important and what really makes a woman attractive and sexy. Confidence, not cocky.

I have large thighs, hips and butt lol. I don't think that qualifies as large frame

OP, your weight wouldn't bother me at all, I prefer brunettes and redheads.

This is SOOOO dependent on the woman. I don't think men (or anybody for that matter) could put it into a hard preference. I'm 5'3 and 137 and it suits me well. However, some women would look a lot different at the same height and weight. If I got down to 110-120 (which is great for many women that are 5'3), I would look awful! If I get over 145, I don't feel really comfortable. It's all so personal.

More importantly, why are you defining female body type by what men like?

Weight looks different on everyone. If you feel good, look good and are healthy the # doesn't matter.

The best weight range for a woman is the one where she feels the best.

Nothin more sexy than a confident woman for me!

When you are getting ready one day looking at yourself in the mirror and are overwhelmed with the need to get out the battery powered friend then you will know you have reached your ideal.

I don't think any realistic man would have a specific weight he wants his women.

I am almost 6'1 since you are 5'3, we would look completely different at the same weight.

I've been attracted to girls anywhere from 100lbs, all the way up to 258lbs... I will admit that I find skinnier girls more attractive, but weight is hardly a deal-breaker. HARDLY.

Weight is just a number. I like my women skinny enough to fit through the prison bars. It makes it easier for them to sneak out for a conjugal visit.

    Body composition.

    Every single person is different.

You can take 3 people, same height, same weight and they are not going to look the same.

Nobody knows what you weigh. Unless of course, you write the # on your forehead. What they will see is YOU. Total package.

I'd advise focusing on what you want your body to LOOK and FEEL like. Focus on body composition, not a scale weight.

What kind of question is this? What weight is best? You realize that women who weight 150 pounds at different heights are going to look completely different. What do you want people to tell you?
  • I think you look great the way you are but then again I don't like skinny twig girls, I like curves, not fat but curves.
  • I think the better question here is what weight range you find best for yourself.
