I lost 1.2 pounds this week, .8 of a pound short of meeting my 5-pound monthly goal. I know I’ll get there, but MAN is this weight loss thing slow. In looking at my food logs, I need to work on my snacks. I’m going to look for vegetable snacks to lower the calories. What’s your favorite vegetable snack?

For my part I'd add kohlrabi and carrots to the list where fresh foods are concerned.
I also love raw endives for making salads, but perhaps not for snacking.
In canned foods: corn, broad beans and peas (but those are all a bit higher in calories)1 -
Love baby carrots and cucumbers, especially cucumbers fresh from the garden(can't wait). I eat them with hummus, sometimes as a meal. I also love green beans from the garden, steamed or stir-fried.
Weight loss does feel slow but it looks like you're doing fantastic! So don't get discouraged.0 -
In addition to the stuff listed above, I also really like those sweet mini peppers.
Congratulations on your weight loss!1 -
Thank you for the ideas! I really appreciate it.1

You are doing great!
I love stuffed green olives with jalapeno/garlic.0
