Question about recipe part of app

Is there a way to include one recipe as an ingredient in another? For instance, if I make fresh salsa, then I use it in my enchilada recipe, is there a way to put the salsa recipe in as an ingredient for the enchiladas?

Sadly not! This is something I wish for frequently, too.

A not very good solution is to add some sort of notation to the title of your enchilada recipe that when you log it reminds you to also log x grams of your salsa recipe. 🤷‍♀️

People say you can use the ‘Meals’ function to better handle this problem but I don’t think I’ve ever really got the hang of how that works, practically! Hopefully, someone will drop in and explain for you (and me!).

You can enter everything else in the enchilada recipe. Then save the enchiladas and the salsa as a meal. Log the meal.
