Fitbit Sense?

Does anyone have this and love it? Noticed it's a Prime Day Deal today.

I have it. It's the only Fitbit I've owned. I love it. I have several chronic illnesses and I really like that it can send printouts of my stats to my doctors when I do quick online visits in between my in person appointments. The only bummer is that you have to pay for Fitbit premium, but it has been worth it for me.

You don't have to pay for Fitbit premium if you don't want the extra information. Of course you get started with 6 months as a teaser, and everyone counts on inertia and happiness for you to keep paying 🤞

The sense looks nicer than the charge 4. And it has a nicer screen.

But it has slightly less (definitely not more) capabilities as a "fitness" device than the (slightly less expensive and older) charge 4.

Since I 100% carry my phone with me all the time for other reasons (making me turn off all smartwatch features) I cannot comment on the relative smartness of the devices

Can you sync a fitbit with MFP so MFP knows your steps each day for exercise credit, or do you have to enter steps manually into MFP?

Yes and yes. You need to link the apps in order for MFP to pick up steps and other exercise calories.

Tea - made with water. It counts as water! As does coffee, soup, fruit juice, salad vegetables, other foods that contain water!

It's cloud computing magic. Follow the instructions to tell MFP about your Fitbit, and your Fitbit about MFP, and once it's set up right, they'll do secret handshakes behind the scenes to exchange data and sort things out.

Do you have a www.fitbit.com account and can you login to your fitbit dashboard? If you can't you need to first contact fitbit support and get some help from them to connect your fitbit device to the fitbit cloud.

once that is done you can connect the fitbit account and your mfp account.

Your question about the laptop indicates that you have probably not yet connected your device to the fitbit dashboard... which means that you won't be able to automatically connect to MFP.
