    I agree with Jo.
Too much money not to be completely happy about the reno.
I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this.

Add my agreement to theirs. He should make it right. Is this laminate? Like yours, my 30 year old laminate has gotten wet and had no issues with water getting under any of the seams

Thanks to all who replied to my irk. :)
Thinking back, there were 2 guys that came in and installed the countertop. One side of the sink was done by a guy who was concentrating, very serious about his job. The other side(one with the bump)the guy was chatting with the contractor and not paying nearly as much serious attention to what he was doing. I mean, the bump isn't *that* noticeable, unless you're running a dishcloth or something over it. But having something like that happen a mere 2 weeks after completion.......the countertop project alone cost us 1800 of the 40K.
But I truly think it should've been sealed better and that's where the problem mostly likely came from. :(

I always second guess myself and am afraid to cause waves or hurt someone's feelings or feel intimidated because well, they're the experts right? :/ He could at the very least, offer a rebate of some kind, just on good faith. :(

Yes, it is laminate. Other than that irky thing, it looks really nice. :)

    Talking with my ex,
I’m all about letting things go,
he’s all about holding on to the anger.
No one can hold a grudge like he can and over the dumbest things.

One example of incompatibility that led to divorce.

Dust. Dust irks me today. I cleaned behind my nightstand and bed headboard today and there was so much dust... my fault I know, but it's not something I think about doing often

Yes dust. Add dog hair to that and the whole static cling effect of winter. :) It's driving me crazy. I even find dog hair in my fridge and kitchen drawers. WTH?

I contacted MFP support because I, and others, are having trouble viewing people's profiles. Happens to me on the website. Chrome seems to be the issue. And it seems to be a random occurrence among friends and those I am not connected to.

The response was that I should log those profiles I can't view and report back. I understand the need to collect data and make an assessment on what the problem is. But to do the fact finding for them is silly. You have my data and know where I have been. You figure it out.

Yep.. I remember contacting once and the barrage of questions that ensured really put me off ever contacting again.

Wow, I'm legitimately irked about this.

Normally, I walk to the grocery store but something's up with a pain in my side and it hurts too much to walk outside. So I drove to the market (which is only a 15 min walk away). I bought half off boxes of cereal I normally wouldn't have because even their sale/coupon prices are over the top. So a 6.50 box of cereal should have rung up at 3.25 but it came up 4.00. Another one for 4.00 should have rung up as 2.00 but came up 2.50.

I wouldn't be this irked about 1.25 but now I have to get dressed again at some point and either waste time driving to the market or walk it hoping I'll still be able to move when I get back.

And, yes, I'm going to make an appt at the doctor's. I was almost on the verge of going to urgent care Friday night after my ling walk but the corona prep thread kinda scared me! 😀

I guess 14yrs is all I get from the television in my bedroom.
It just blinks off, on, off, on, off,
    I think it’s telling me goodbye. 😂

Maybe it's morse code and is telling you it's in trouble. (I don't have the creativity to come up with that trouble.)

I should not read blog comments!

I watch General Hospital and some of the comments for yesterday's episode...

Certain people who sway a certain way politically don't like feminists. One person was saying how she doesn't think 3 of the characters on the show are. I think it totally goes over her head that one's a PI, another a nurse, and the third is a world renowned super spy.

She also said she wouldn't hire the one female (an attorney) who she thinks is one but would the only two male attorneys in town.

I came out of lurkdom to ask what she has against feminists and what exactly she thinks they do/are because sometimes you have to call people out on their b.s. thinking.

Aaaaand her answer was exactly what I thought it would be. A lesbian who hates men.

That I have so many symptoms, can’t walk across the room without huffing and puffing and still,
    I tested negative.
    I could’ve been immune………😕

Maybe you have the "cold from hell" that lasts 2 weeks. It'll knock you on your butt, it's so awful, and fatigue is a big part of it, plus mucus and sneezing-coughing that never seem to end.

I was in the boss' office when he called a client I had apparently gone above and beyond to help. She wants to pay me something and asked how much to pay me.

So, anyway, after they got off the phone I was a little shocked he said how much he said and he was telling me other people were making 3 times doing what I did.

I half jokingly said good because I haven't had a raise in 3 years and he said....

"You already make enough." Not really in a mean way but in a I make more than most people in my position way.

    But three years.

    Even if I suck.

That was NOT the reaction he was supposed to give! He was supposed to be surprised it's been that long!

Oh and when i said I'd have to declare how much he told the client to pay me, he said to write off my walking.

And clients (a different one) don't *kitten* listen. Just give me what I asked for.

Having to stay home and wait for symptoms to hit me, instead of getting out. :( I've had close exposure and don't want to take a chance of possibly spreading anything. So instead, I sit here and watch everything that gets handled by hands and it's driving me nuts. Becoming obsessed with what germs we're leaving behind.

Oh and my hands are so raw and red from constant washing.

People who complain they are lonely and bored lonely and bored lonely and bored, for years... yet don’t bother to do anything about it but complain. Get a job, join a team, go play bingo, you will meet people.
Instead you would rather sit around and be pitiful.

Also the internet isn’t a substitute for real life.

The internet actually can be a good place to get a real life. It's pretty easy to meet people. Dangerous....but easy! :)

Only they don’t use it to meet people in real life.

Currently: the cold weather. I really don't enjoy cold weather. It dries out my skin (which makes it hurt) and I hate feeling the cold on my face. I also despise having to put on three layers just to feel comfortable enough to walk to the store or to school (about a 5 - 10 min. walk).
