Permanently Disabled

Hello, my name is Sheryl and I’m just beginning with MFP. I just met with my new Nutritionist and she told be about this App.
I have been disabled for 16+ years and I have mobility issues along with multiple Pain issues. I do my exercises throughout the day and I don’t feel hungry much of my day because high pain levels cause nausea. So my problem is not eating enough! Plus I need to keep my legs elevated most of the day.
I am modifying my diet to eat a snack/meals every 3-31/2 hours.
I have a high school reunion the end of May and would live to feel better…more comfortable in my own body!!!

Welcome to MFP, Sheryl! I'm sure you'll find logging helpful. There are a few active conversations about purposefully gaining weight that you may find helpful!

Disabled here - kidney failure and dialysis. I'm in a similar boat with physical limitations. I'm tired a lot after treatment and it's also exacerbated arthritis.

    We're here for you!

Hello, I'm new here and also disabled. I use a power wheelchair. I also have heart problems and other serious elements. Wish you the very best in all areas.

I am also disabled. There’s a group here that needs more participation because it’s a bit slow…. With enough members we can make it a really great spot. Come join us!
