    Disconnecting garmin and aiming for consistent calories has been going pretty good. This coming week is a change in shift from nights to mornings so I’ll need to adjust meal timings and my weigh in timing will be different so I expect a slight bump on the scale that reflects that.

    Successes/Struggles: I didn't do well in logging my food but my meals are planned which helps. Missed one of my video exercise classes this week too. Amazingly, my weight held steady. Don't want to count on it.

    Successes/struggles:
    I was away for a week with family - lots of exercise including four swimming sessions of about 90 minutes each time, (with family including three non-swimming little ones), cycling and walking. I weighed myself on Tuesday morning and was happy to see less than 1 kg gain.
    Enjoyed beer, wine and ice cream (all in moderation) as well as lots of good food.

    Successes/struggles of the week: Successes/struggles pretty much the same....lunch out twice so had to balance eating more at those meals and that isn't always easy. I ended up overdoing it lunch and then backing off at dinner because I wasn't that hungry.

    Success of the week: I did much better this week, and it feels good. I hit my lowest one-day reading since March. Checking in a day early because I won't be near a scale or compute tomorrow.


    Struggle of the week: For a change, no real struggles to speak of. I just have the usual not wanting to go to the office, and not enjoying the extreme drought and the upcoming extreme heat.

    How long in maintenance: Since April 2016 - but gained 10 kg March-May 2020 after massive trauma combined with COVID-19.
    Maintenance weight range: 65-75 kg (not sure what’s the right answer - been up and down in there numerous times in my life, apart from going way over 2010-2015).
    I’d like to lose a bit to get back to 70 kg, but I’m still happy at around 75 kg.

    I’m experimenting with seeing how my satiety levels are in relation to the types of foods I eat. Trying to eat more whole foods, which I’ve been getting pretty good at, and less sugar, and it’s going quite well.
    Weekly averages checking day for me is Sunday.

    Struggles: Had a tooth implant done a few days ago and painkillers mean constipation and weight gain.

    Successes/struggles of the week: Another week with crazy weight fluctuations - up 2 lbs, down 1.2 lbs, etc. The heat, my medication, and restaurant meals aren't helping with all of the water weight fluctuations. On the exercise front, I did a ton of walking the past couple of days - 25k steps on Friday, and 19k steps yesterday. Hopefully with trying to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables, and less restaurant food, my weight will trend back downwards again.

    Staying right on target at 142. The struggle this week yet again is the heat....get out earlier to walk and use the gym is the success.

    Successes/struggles of the week: I've been focusing on trying to drink a lot of water lately, and that seems to have helped a bit with the crazy water retention issues I've been having, as my average weight dropped down 1 lb this week, and I saw a couple of weights in the ~112.5 lb range again. Hopefully the downward trend will continue.

    Didn't even realize that I missed last week until I went to post this morning. The grandkids spent a few days with us this week and we were running around doing fun things. I didn't track my food either for the time they were here. Fortunately we were busy so no boredom eating. I didn't do any of my regular video exercise classes either because the kids were here part of the week and it was hot and smoky the rest of the week. Ready for a new start today.

    Lost 65 lbs since 2009. Been in maintence since 7/2016. I'm 5'4", 66 yrs old. My average weight runs between 107-110. I've just transferred over from another program after all these years because they closed down the old site, and the new one is way to complex for me. It lacks the community touch. Caedio is tough as I have copd, but slow & steady and tracking is the name of my game. Nice to meet you all, and read your posts :)

    Successes/struggles of the week: My weight trended back up again a bit, but it's staying lower than what it's been lately, so that's good. I managed to get close to 20k steps today by walking to and from brunch (a good 1 hour 20 min walk each way). Tomorrow will be similar, with a 1 hour 15 minute walk to brunch in each direction, so I'll also exceed my step goal then.
